I am by no means a professional but I am very mechanically inclined. Usually I write reviews when Amazon sends me an email asking to leave one a few days later but here I am. These straps are so useless I decided to walk away from the oil cooler I am rigging to my radiator to cool down and write this. THE SECOND I PULLED ONE OUT OF THE PACK IT SNAPPED IN MY HANDS! Okay maybe it's a dud that's why I purchased multiple packs. Slide one through the radiator and into the oil cooler, as soon as I went to apply the retainer the second strap snapped and shot into my face faster then a f-22 on full afterburner. No big deal now I'm down two let's give it another go.... PHEW I got four threaded through both but now the retainer clips slide up the straps like a Phillies fan sliding down a greased telephone pole. Double up on the retainers and literally as I'm typing this with the radiator at my feet another strapped snapped without anyone near it. Nothing makes me angrier then buying junk and these straps are the prime definition. So do yourself a favor and look for different ones. I would give these zero stars if uncle Bezos would let me. My dog and I are both bummed out over this as we were looking to fire the rig up this weekend...... JUNK!

The zip tie part doesn't stay snugged down when you zip it together. It loosens up somewhat easily and your part would start to flop around loosely. It comes with springs for some reason, when you zip tie through the springs it immediately loosens up as the spring expands. You'd honestly have better luck using .99 cent harbor freight zip ties.

only used 1 set so far but 1 of the hold down "nuts" does not hold so had to double up, no problem they give extra...... so all good , thanks

If you manage to get them pushed through the fins without snapping, the locks won't hold, even tried doubling and tripling them since I had extras from all the broken ones, or they will snap pulling them tight. I've used many of these in the past and never had issues like with these. Some parts of the plastic are flexible, but then another part will be brittle.
