Purchased these lights on a whim when there was a lightning sale - $13 for two packages. I figured the are solar & I need solar since there are no plugs outside for me to use. I put them up in my Gazebo hoping for the best (since they were so inexpensive) & they are wonderful! There's a switch on the Solar stake part where they can blink or stay constantly lit up. If your putting them up in your Gazebo, you need to figure out how to secure the stake since the assumption is your putting them in the ground. The stake part removes from the main solar plate, so you hang them to absorb the sun. We used duct tape & zip ties. Only one refuses to stay up! The bulbs are not TOO big & not TOO small - they are just right! Loved them so much, purchased another set for $19.99 since I needed all four to go around my Gazebo. Definitely a recommend!

These lights are blue white, not warm at all. They are also quite small. I have two problems with them. One is that the batteries run down after only an hour or so. I had other string lights with the solar panels in the same places that would last at least 5-6 hours. The collectors eventually became rain-damaged and I couldn’t find replacements, so I purchased these, which are advertised as waterproof. This brand hasn’t been up long enough for me to see if the claim is honest. The other problem is the design, which has a 1” long, permanently angled connector for the ground stake, molded into the back of the panel..That works OK where a ground stake can be used, but it’s a big problem placing it on the rail of my deck. With a previous model, I could set them flat on the rail, using the extra wiring to secure them. These will not lie flat and with best efforts at timing them down, they won’t stay in place. With solar collectors, positioning is everything, especially with short days in the winter. The batteries included are quite weak and seem to be even shoddy. They are AA 300mah, apparently not decent quality. I had some of the same brand with 600 maH, I charged each with a wall charger and tried one in each set. The 600 lasted several hours. They did not do nearly as well solar charging, but still far better than the batteries that are included. I have purchased a yet better quality rechargeable and am trying that, This has been interesting. I’m trying to make these lights useful for what I want. It’s now a challenge, but I would recommend anyone stay away from this product and buy from a different vendor.

The lights are beautiful... while they worked... and the one set I could use. Two sets arrived in the package. The first set was held together by a twist tie and had the parts needed to use and mount... The second set was twisted together on itself, and impossible to untwist. It also did not include the mounts for the solar panel... So I strung up the one set, However, after two days of use... it is NO LONGER WORKING... Beautiful lights, but terrible follow through, shipping, and quality.

These are great lights for any outdoor setting. I ordered them for my rooftop deck and with the 2 pack, I was able to hang them around the perimeter (average sized deck). They charged pretty quickly from the sun and are very bright. The coloring of the light is slightly blue due to the LED lights, but if you are not picky about the color they are great and work wonderfully! Can't beat the price as well.

I ordered a set of 2 solar 30 led string lights. Couldn't hardly wait for them to come in. They came in on time. Installed both strings and they were awesome looking. Then on week 6 the first 1 stopped working at all. Since week 8 the second 1 only lights half of the leds. And they are not all next to each other. 3 on 4 out 2 on 3 out etc. I've ordered 20 or so solar led products in the past year from Amazon and these things are by far the worst i've seen. Amazon shouldn't even allow such low quality products sold on their site. I used to trust Amazons quality standards to know that I was buying a quality product. Now it's all about the dollar.

I would give it 0 stars....When it arrived it did not come with any stakes, so my husband made a couple of them to hold the solar panel. Since it was evening when they arrived, we waited until morning to put them outside... That evening only one worked...I called the company about the missing stakes, never heard from them! By the second evening neither set worked and even though we had plenty of sun I have left them out hoping they would.... I didn't keep the packing box so am stuck. I have ordered many solar lighting and have never had trouble. Very disappointed with this company...

Update: one of the strands will only operate on blink, which is highly annoying! contacted seller, who responded right away with a fair solution. so I will keep the review at 5 stars because the seller is great! still awaiting credit from vendor...very cheery decorative lights for my pergola! like that they are plastic, not glass, for my patio. ambient light only.

You can see the lights, but they re so weak they are useless for helping to light up a pathway. ALSO be very careful that you read the fine print. These end up costing $10 more with S&H. "Free shipping" means you have to buy specific stuff that the seller offers. It is not the usual amazon free shipping with orders over.
