Q: i press the me button and nothing happens, only when i use the app and press the green mike does it translate. is that the way it is suppose to work?

I had the same issue. I ended up sending mine back and getting my money back.

Hello, this device needs your phone in order to work, so far its very slow to respond. You are better off using your phone.
