I spilled some latte on it and it cleaned up easily. Everything inside stayed dry.-I like the shape. It's square. Not floppy.-It flattens down and stores well.C o n s :-The shoe pocket takes up space inside the main compartment. Which is a little annoying. But I like the idea of having a separate compartment for shoes to not dirty your clothes.-Water bottle pocket fits my size 18 oz hydro flask. My water bottle has a sleeve strap around the base. It was tricky sliding it into the pocket and I think the pocket could be bigger. The side pocket might be able to fit 22 oz but any bigger might be impossible to fit.O v e r a l l :I used this for a weekend road trip. It was the best bag I've ever used for travel. When I needed something it was nice to have easy access to everything. The trip was overnight to a location with warm weather. I had extra space in the bag. Since I had the space it was excellent tightening the straps to slim the backpack. You might be able to pack for about 2 to 3 days depending on how much you're packing and the climate.If you limit what you pack this would probably be good for a personal item on a plane. Be sure to measure it first and compare it with your airline's requirements. I can't wait to try it out on the plane. It has a strap to connect to a rolling suitcase. And I think it will work well with my packing cubes.My least favorite thing about this bad is that the shoe compartment makes it bulge and takes space from the main clothes pocket. And I wish the water bottle holder was bigger but I like that it flattens when it's empty.I've been pretty happy with it. I feel like this bag is the perfect travel bag for me!

I flew spirit & breeze for the first time for this trip so I was really worried about the bag not fitting in the bag measure thing. I got the Large-L size & I packed 2 denim shorts, 3 tanks, 2 dresses, 2 leggings, 2 workout tanks, a sports bra & 5 underwear. (don’t ask me why i needed all of this). I also packed a pair of converse, heels & sandals. Keep in mind that if you use the shoe compartment, it takes up A LOT of space in the main compartment. I was also able to squeeze in a small purse & my kindle. Now another thing about me is my skin care & haircare is really impt so I found a way to stuff everything in the wet bag pocket. This made the bag a bit bulkier in the front & it didn’t end up fitting in the bin but it still fits under the seat in front of you LOL. However, on my way back I was on American airlines & I repacked everything & somehow got the bag flatter & way less bulkier & it had no problem fitting in the bag measure bin thing. Keep in mind it was only a domestic flight & they didn’t really check too much so on other flights or airlines they might be a little more strict. If you pack a bit lighter than me you should be completely fine length wise, just be mindful of the width. It’s a great bag & it surprisingly fits a lot but the only thing I will say is I wish there were more compartments on the outside of the bag for your misc. things. A downfall of getting a lighter color is that it will get dirty very quickly so maybe opt for a darker color. Overall it seems durable & should last for a while. Also, the more you pack the heavier it gets, & yes your shoulders will hurt!

My biggest issue with the bag is it arrived with a massive hole already in the product (as pictured in both pictures still with the tag in the second picture). I know what you’re thinking: why didn’t you just return it and get a new one. Well, I did not notice the hole until I started packing the bag for vacation the next morning. Therefore, I did keep and use the bag. The multiple compartments is excellent. The bag is very comfortable to sit on your back. The main reason I purchased this bag was because it was the perfect sized personal item on a budget airline, which it was. For it only being a backpack, I could fit a multitude of items in the bag. I do wish I could have exchanged it before my travels, but unfortunately time was not on my side. I am worried about the tear continuing to rip, but time will tell.

This bag would be great if you're going camping, backpacking across Europe, or living out of the bag for days on end. There are a ton of pockets that will hold enough for probably a several day trip, and it would be easy to keep everything well organized. The quality seems to be excellent, durable.But I'm returning it cuz it really doesn't fit my needs. It has pockets with hidden zippers which would be great if you are backpacking in the rain or want to avoid easy access to the pockets while wearing the backpack. But I'm going on a European cruise & I'm using the backpack to be my (hands free) airplane carry-on to hold a change of clothes & my essentials. I won't have immediate access to my luggage when I get to my destination. So I need a carry-on that will hold anything I might need before I have access to my luggage or enough stuff in case my luggage doesn't arrive. Once I'm on the ship though I will be unpacking everything & putting the luggage under the bed. So I don't need those hidden zippers and it's not as easy to open the pockets with that type of design. It's an excellent bag though from what I can tell. I obviously didn't use it in real life. But I could tell that trying to open the pockets to get to my things during my flight will drive me nuts. I go in and out of my bag constantly so I need simplicity & ease. I ordered a different one with pockets that are easier to open & I am keeping that one.

Well made, great design. Pre-packed my minimalist items for an upcoming month long trip and it wad just a little too small for what I needed. Great everyday commuter or weekend trip bag though so no complaints. If they make an XL version I'll check it out.
