Replaced an Older Stingray Hydrofoil
My old hydrofoil had cracked from hitting some wood. It is a 10-year-old model Stingray hydrofoil.. I took the old one off and tried the boat without the hydrofoil. I immediately experienced severe porpoising after getting on plane. My boat is 18.5' with a 115HP motor and 8hp kicker. I put my new stingray hydrofoil on, and it had the exact same bolt hole patten of my old model so there was no need to drill into the leg! Very easy swap and it looks and works well. The hydrofoil is an absolute necessity on my boat and improves the ride 1000%.

Works perfectly! Easy installation
I added this to a 100hp Mercury Outboard on a 17.5' bowrider. Boat would take a while to get on plane with a steep pitch until i hit about 25mph.The installation took less than 30mins. My boat now planes off almost instantly, very minimal pitch. It has barely affected my top speed, if at all. I highly recommend getting one!
