14" Amber Moravian Star LED Decor, Christmas Star Outdoor Decoration

I bought 2 of these is 2018. finally in 2023 I find I have to replace one due to plastic cracking. I call it pretty solid. I take them apart every year to store them more compactly. Maybe that caused some wear. They look very nice lit up.

Shopped around and found that Amazon had the best price for this white star. Wasn't sure about the size, but 14 inches was fine. Used hanging off t-top on my boat. Looks really beautiful at night. Putting it together took less than 10 minutes. I liked the turn to lock vs. the other types that have pins. This could be taken apart when season is over. Not sure how the main piece will hold up, but looks fine now. My wife was right and I was wrong. Very good purchase and looks nice. May get a couple more (red and blue) for the 4th of July holiday.

I've wanted a Moravian star for years. I read reviews for several choices and am so glad I purchased this one. It's bright, sturdy, and the size is just right for my front porch. Regarding assembly, it took a few twists to get the hang of it, but once I figured out for myself what the directions actually explained :D it was easy to twist each node into place. Think about the square as a diamond instead with the 4 points being like cardinal directions N, S, E, W. Place it in to the square like a diamond, and then twist to the right, like N goes to NE, E goes to SE, etc. That sped things up and didn't take much hand strength once I figured that out. I'm really happy with it and am looking forward to using it for years to come.

Our old Moravian star’s bulb burnt out and it was impossible to replace the bulb without destroying it, so I got this new one which arrived in a few days. It’s so much easier to assemble & would be easy to breakdown to change the bulb. It came with two bulbs and is a clear bright white that look nice with the warm LED bulbs we use on or tree. The size is right for the seven foot tree that we purchased. I removed one star because this light is only designed to be used as a pendant. The last star had a clip that held a small dowel that allowed easy attachment to the tree. We had to rig a system with zip ties and a wood skewer to attach to this tree & it’s a little off center. We decided to store it assembled, wrapped in a bag rather than risk the pieces possibly breaking down with years being assembled and disassembled.

This star was purchased to hang as a tribute to our local healthcare personnel. We have a historical Moravian site here, so the star holds special meaning in our area. The star isn't super sturdy, so I've brought it in if we were expecting severe winds. The kit comes with two spare points (one of each size) which I think probably indicates that the manufacturer realizes the tabs that lock the points in place will likely break eventually. For the price I paid, it is a reasonable quality. The frosted color allows for a lot of light to shine through and it is a nice touch. I plan to use it again at Christmas. (If it survives the spring/summer heat!)

Beautiful star that is easy to assemble BUT I can’t get power to because it won’t plug into a normal Christmas light plug. It has a fat grounded prong in the plug that won’t fit into the universe Christmas light plug. BAD design flaw! Unless I am going to run a outdoor plug to each of these stars their is no way to hang multiples together or without running a big fat outdoor cord across my roof for each of these stars! It makes NO SENSE to design it this way give where it is supposed to be used (outdoors, hanging!!). I am returning it. What a shame they couldn’t design it without this stupid obstacle (I get it is for safety but find another way!).

I love this star, I have it hanging in the corner of a bedroom with a couple other starry items and it looks lovely! It comes with two light bulbs; the one already inside it seemed a bit brighter so that's what I have in. All together the lights provide a nice warm glow.Only downside is the super short 5 ft cord which makes it very hard to hang from the ceiling, or I'd imagine, outdoors as shown in the photos.Also, at my time of purchase, December 2022, they include assembly instructions to help put the star together.Ordered in white.

I have never used a star on my Christmas tree because they seemed a little tacky. I know this isn't supposed to use on trees, but I left a spike off the bottom to fit. My tree is 7.5ft and it is slim. I used the 14" star. It is truly beautiful. However, the sphere the spikes twist into came apart at the seam and the spikes would fall off. The light also only lasted 3 days. If you need a replacement bulb, I used a C7 and it fits perfectly. I love this star so much I am trying to think of a way to permanently securing the spikes. If any one has a suggestion, please let me know. I don't know if super glue would hold.
