Hape E8372 Large 2 Sided Reversible Town & Jungle Baby Activity Foam Foldable Play Mat

I love this thing. I take everywhere we plan to spend time indoors. You never know how clean a person's floor is and with this thing you don't have to worry about a safe, clean place for your infant to roll around on. And its certainly more comfy to play on than wood or tile. Once my kid could crawl, it's nearly impossible to keep her on it but I still use it to maximize it's potential for keeping my carpets clean. My cat likes to run across it which has resulted in several small holes in it. They don't go all the way through so it still protects baby and floor but it means that the insides are a bit exposed (it's kinda spongey) so when you clean it by any means more intense than a wipe down, it has to dry out a while. I still highly recommend it to anyone. Many people have asked me where to get one and I tell them. It's easy to fold and put away and also to travel with since it comes with a handy carrying case.

I'm really surprised by this product. I didn't know how HUGE, LIGHTWEIGHT and SOFT it was. I love so many things about this mat! I love that it's CUSHIONED and DOESN'T BEND on the edges. I love that you can EASILY FOLD it and put it away in it's carrying case when not in use or just simply take it with you anywhere you go - park or just a relative's house. Great for when you have baby play dates. This mat is the PERFECT HUGE SIZE for babies to do tummy time, roll over and crawl. Also great as a playing mat. If you spill anything on it, you can EASILY WIPE it with damp wash cloth. Lastly, I love the TWO-SIDED DESIGN, the TEXTURE and the VIBRANT COLORS! It definitely caught my baby's eyes and he loves to feel the texture of the mat.

This mat is really great, better than I expected. It's soft and I love that it's reversible - it makes me think we will get use out of it for a long time, especially once our son is older (he's 7 months now) and can use the roads with cars. It folds up so easily so it's quick to store. We needed a bigger play area than just a play gym since our son would roll around and off of it but we didn't want to put something permanent down (we're still trying to keep baby clutter to a minimum!). This works perfectly for us for those reasons, plus it's waterproof so no issue with drool or occasional spit-up, just wipe it away. Finally, we have a dog who sheds fine hair so this is great because we can just vacuum quickly with a hand vac or wipe it off. It is also very light and the carrying case is handy and makes it easy to bring it with us when we go visit someone or on vacation. My only slight concern is that it's made in China so I do hope it really is non-toxic but not much I can there I guess!

I initially purchased that foam number/letter floor mat that’s really popular two years ago. Well I was starting to go mad because once my son learned that it all comes apart as he got older, he was constantly pulling it all apart. I was getting sick of putting it back together every night so when he intentionally spilled milk all over it, I saw it as a blessing since I finally had a reason to just toss the whole thing in the garbage without feeling guilty. Yes I know, I could’ve cleaned it, shhh... Anyways, I knew this time around I wanted a floor mat that did not come apart. I saw some at the big box baby stores for a ridiculous amount. Unnecessary to spend the money on them as this mat is GREAT!! It’s thick and soft and a great size. I love that it has two sides of print. My son loves moving his toy cars along the roads on the city side. I have now purchased 5 or 6 things from this brand and I am never disappointed. High quality for reasonable prices. Love their puzzles. Highly recommend this playmat and this brand.

This mat is perfect. It has two super cute bright sides for baby to play on and look at. It's huge and really thick and soft. My baby has fell backwards twice and it didn't even phase her. It does not slide around. I love that it folds small and has a carry case so I can take it with us to others house. So far it hasn't ripped or faded and we have a cat and dog that are constantly on it with claws. I'm even thinking about buying another one since she has learned to crawl from using this mat. Definitely worth it!!! 😁😁😁

This is an edited review. I originally gave this product a 1 Star review. The product fell short of my expectations from a consumer standpoint, and an unfortunate event during its use left me a very disappointed dad.I think this is ultimately a good product that has a great reversible design. The fact that it folds and is thus portable makes it very handy. Due to it not being very thick, I would hesitate to recommend this for folks that have only hardwood floors.After expressing my frustration I was really impressed with how the company responded to my concerns. They addressed my needs and very quickly turned me into a very satisfied customer. They helped me find a product well suited to my needs and made sure I had it to use promptly. My new product arrived with a personal, handwritten note- a very classy touch.I let my dollar speak to my values, and the people that run this company, this American family-based business, have my vote. I will buy more products from them. You should too!

This mat is less expensive than mats of the same size and thickness, and made by a trusted brand; there are lots of other mats with the same specs but I wasn’t confident they were meeting strict safety standards like this one. The patterns are nice and bright. The texture makes it a little tricky to clean but also give the baby some traction to scoot or crawl. Because this isn’t very thick, we leave it partially folded for more cushion, but it will be a nice large size with just enough give once baby is mobile.

Loved the portability of this mat. Folds up quickly and has its own carry bag. It is large and lightweight and colourful with different scenes on each side ( animals on one side and roads on the other) so it will grow with my grandson. Great buy. Love it
