Very good quality Renal food I would certainly recommend this product

Our vet recommended this diet for our 11 year old cat after a couple of nasty urine infections. I can't comment yet on how it's helped as she's only been on these for a month (although no signs of problems so far). However I can confirm that my very fussy cat, who normally only eats Felix in gravy, has been eating this new food without fuss.

My ancient cat has recently been diagnosed with early stage kidney failure. The vet recommended Royal Canin Tuna wet food but she would not eat it, even though I was mixing in some of her usual food to try to disguise the taste. She has lost a lot of weight & clearly very miserable & getting weaker. Vet said she must put on more weight, but how can you do that if your cat won't eat the food? I was at my wit's end to be honest. So I tried the Purina Salmon Wet Diet & what a relief! I mixed a wee bit of her usual food in as before and she cleaned the plate. It was great to see her enjoy her meal instead of sniffing it suspiciously & walking away. She wolfed it down. The most she's eaten in days, and I was at last able to administer her meds (liquid mixed in with food). Now sleeping contentedly on her heated pad & hopefully she will continue to like this food. I knocked off one star as the supplier sent Chicken flavour originally which I had not ordered & which she won't like, so I had the palaver of sending it back & also I was concerned at the extra delay this caused, given that my pet was unwell. However, I reordered the salmon again & the correct order came this time. The box contained the 10 pouches, but it looked like the box had been tampered with or damaged & sellotaped together again. I have ordered more of this product, so hopefully everything will be fine on that front & I will get a pristine box. The main thing is my cat continues to enjoy the food & that it will benefit her health, & every cat owner knows this is the main battle when changing their feline friend's diet. Well done Purina, I am a happy customer as is my cat. Please keep supplying this product SALMON flavour on Amazon. Thank you.

Although my fussy cat was hesitant with the new diet, he will eat this product. It's the one he eats more of than others for kidney/renal diet.

My cat has heart issues and this was highly recommended by the vet. My cat loves it too, which helps.

Finally a cat food for renal function my cat is actually enjoying, she also asking me to give her more, this salmon one is going down very very well

My cat loves this. Also has made a big difference to his litter tray , not as much Urine in it, also does not drinking as much Liquid (was cleaning out his tray every four days) This along with Renal dry food The difference is fantastic

Bei meiner Suche bin ich hier auf das PURINA Wet Renal Diet Katzenfutter gestoßen. Das Futter ist hochwertig und speziell für Katzen mit Nierenproblemen entwickelt worden. Es enthält alle notwendigen Nährstoffe, um eine gesunde Nierenfunktion zu unterstützen und das Fortschreiten der Nierenprobleme zu verlangsamen. Das Futter hat einen reduzierten Gehalt an Phosphor und Proteinen, um die Belastung der Nieren zu reduzieren. Das Besondere an dem Futter ist, dass es mit leckerem Lachs erhältlich ist, was meiner Katze sehr gut schmeckt. So hat mein Sirius auch mehr Freude am Fressen. Die Verpackung des Futters ist ansprechend und leicht zu öffnen. Der Geruch des Futters ist angenehm und nicht zu aufdringlich. Die Konsistenz des Futters ist ebenfalls angenehm und wenn ich meinen Senior beobachte- auch leicht zu kauen. Nachdem ich dieses Katzenfutter meiner Katze eine Weile gefüttert habe, habe ich eine Verbesserung ihres Allgemeinzustands bemerkt. Sie war aktiver und hatte mehr Energie. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Katzenfutter und empfehle es jedem Besitzer einer Katze mit Nierenproblemen. Es ist hochwertig und enthält alle notwendigen Nährstoffe, um die Gesundheit der Nieren zu unterstützen.

I cibi renal, si sa, sono raramente appetibili. Ma questo ha fatto il piccolo miracolo: è piaciuto anche ai miei gatti con insufficienza renale cronica e gusti impossibili. Forse il segreto è nella bagna abbondante: iniziano a leccare incuriositi… e poi, quasi per sbaglio, mangiano anche i pezzi umidi più grossi. Promosso, e non è poco per un renal. Chi convive con mici delicati capirà l’entusiasmo.
