Nutramax Cosquin DS Chewables Plus MSM Tablet, Chicken Taste, 60-Count

I'm not normally one to give reviews - but feel I must here.I have a black Labrador, Charlie, who is now 8. He is the most wonderful friend to me and my family.My children love playing with him, he loves long walks and chases anything you throw for him. Or at least that used to be the case.We got Charlie as an 8 week old, and he was the most energetic bundle of joy - and remained that way until he was 5 or 6, when his problems started.He loves the beach and swimming, but suddenly every time we went to the beach he would do everything he normally did but would then struggle to stand up after resting. He would be fine after a little while moving about, but it was concerning. So, we took him to the Vets and the diagnosis was that he was just getting older - soft surfaces were just making him tired and there was nothing wrong with his joints.Over the next couple of years, it got worse, and the Vet could still find nothing wrong with him physically. This was a relief, but we were at a loss. He was obviously in pain, and really stiff after even short exercise.We had been researching and finding out about foods we could try and massages and exercises - which helped a bit, but walks were now down to less than 30 minutes a day, at a very slow pace, and definitely no beaches, soft ground or swimming. He also couldn't run for more than a few steps and playing the garden for more than a few minutes with the kids was an absolute no. In short, his stiff joints had taken all the joy out of his life, and obviously it was no fun for the kids either. Charlie wasn't Charlie any more - he really wanted to play, and watching him struggle was just awful.Then I was sent a link to this product - and I researched it before deciding to try it. I am not usually one to believe the claims on a website, so I looked for real-world reviews to help me decide - the main reason I am writing this, maybe someone else will be helped.Charlie is 30Kg so needs 3 tablets a day during the build-up phase, so 120 tablets for 40 days worth - not cheap, but I figure if it helps, even a little, it's worth every penny.Thank you to the makers for giving me my best friend back. His joy has returned, and unbelievably, just over a week after giving him his first tablets he is able to walk 3 miles in a go with no stiffness after. Not only that but instead of sadly dragging his feet and walking along slowly behind me he was trotting happily ahead and actually enjoying the outdoors again. I haven't persuaded him to walk further, he led me. He can play again, he can run until he is out of breath and he can even climb back to his spot on the sofa!We're obviously still giving him the build-up dose - but the difference is simply amazing. I can't wait to take him to the beach, but I don't think we are there just yet - I don't want to overdo it.I'm really looking forward to seeing him once he is able to build his strength and stamina again.This is not an advert, it's a genuine review.I couldn't be more amazed or pleased. But please remember that no medical condition was the cause of Charlies problems and I cannot vouch for how it would help a dog with any condition. All I know is that for general stiffness, its worked wonders.

These are amazing. I cannot believe the difference it has made to my 14 year old boarder collie.... Also got him some shoes for our slippy floors and help lots...

My dog is quite fussy when it comes to giving tablets, but he took to these straight away. He has been on them for about a month now, and has no pain getting up after a long walk..not heard him whimper in pain like he did before. Would recommend to give them a try.

Switched to these from a different brand as my Lab didn't like the taste of the others no matter what we tried. He'll take these no problem in his food so they must taste okay and have the added bonus of containing MSM which I have read is the best combination. I have seen a definite improvement with his walking on these.

These have worked wonders for my 11 yr old Springer Spaniel who has really bad arthritis. he had to have surgery recently because he swallowed a stone . I really noticed a big difference in his stiffness without them . so I've just ordered more and will keep him on these for the rest of his life .

This has transformed my Labrador. The vet medicine was not really doing anything! With in 2 weeks of taking these tablets I saw improvement in my girl and within a month she was running around like a puppy, jumping on and off the sofa - which she hadn't done in over a year! Highly recommend this stuff! The vets are even shocked by her improvement, and it's a lot cheaper than a monthly vet prescription! :)

I give this to my senior shih tzu and bichon and works great! Within a week I see a difference in how my dogs walk and that they can take longer walks. They are not moving as stiff as before and hopefully feel less joint pain. The pills are rather large so it needs to be broken into smaller pieces for my small dogs. Wish I found this sooner!
