Despite carefully measuring the hole in my basin many times and ordering this plug which seemed to be the right size, it still wouldn't quite fit in the hole, no matter how hard I pushed. Like other people have reported, however, I removed the rubber seal from the new plug and put it on my old plug, and amazingly it stopped the plug jamming, so all was not lost! Very annoying that the manufacturers can't standardize the sizes better though, no two sizes should be within a fraction of a mm of each other, it's asking for trouble.

Perfectly replacement item for new build home sinks, especially if you live in a hardwater area

Both the plug and waste covers fitted perfectly and only took me a couple of minutes to install.

Was looking for a replacement 'head' for my popup bathroom sink waste as the old one wasn't holding water in the sink. This did the job.

Fit easily by screwing on to old fixture

Fitted the plug easily but when I pushed it down it stuck in the hole! Took a lot of fiddling to get it out.

This was advertised as a chrome plated brass item. It felt as if it was too light.
