Fantastic insurance
Works great on my toyota Tacoma don't have to worry about anyone stealing my tailgate cheap insurance because if tailgate was stolen it would cost around $1000.00 to replace it and paint matched.

installed in minutes. a bit pricey for me but fair considering the material its made of and quality. overall the peace of mind is priceless. i recommend it. also thinking of getting some again for my brother as a gift that also has a tacoma.

Broke the panel of the tail gate
Was difficult to install plus broke the plastic panel of the tail gate.

Works as it should! The fit is vary good and almost looks like it came like this from the factory! You won’t be disappointed. Vary easy to install. This compare to other types of tailgate locks, is the most stock looking one in my opinion. Best looking too. Solid chunk covering the hinge. Spend a hundred to save a $500 piece from getting stolen…..no brainer.

very easy to install. i'm sure average DIYer can do with or without the instruction (which is also included and very easy to follow)
