Remington HC70 Apprentice Hair Clipper

these really struggled to cut my hair, in fairness my hair is quite thick and i was cutting it from quite long down to grade 2 due to not getting round to replacing my old clippers very quickly. on the plus side they are very quiet (mainly because they have no grunt) and if you cut your hair weekly/fortnightly not once every 6-8 weeks as i did this time they would probably be fine but they are not much more than slightly beefed up beard trimmers in my humble opinion. wish id spent a tad more and got some clippers with a bit more oompf

I have been using these clippers for about 6 months and so far have no complaints apart from the cord being too short. The attachments are fine, the power seems adequate and it pretty much does what it says on the tin! Would I buy it again? Considering I only paid a tenner for it, yes of course I'd buy it again.

I got these for my family on christmas. My mum said that they don't cut thick hair very well. I also noticed the size things were a little flimsy and cheap. The overall quality of the clippers were very good but if they don't cut hair well then the purpose of them is out the window.

Great little shaver, worked fine and all the extras are good too, well all but the scissors, they are cheap and only a small child can get their fingers in the holes. Apart from that the shaver is a great product.

Our ancient Babyliss hair clipper was missing some hairs so we decided to replace it. This Remington appeared to offer the essentials at a reasonable price so we bought it.It comes with all the usual accessories – the plastic comb guides that ensure hair is cut to an even length – plus some fairly cheap and wobbly scissors. In use, it works fine and does a decent job. It's not too noisy and doesn't vibrate excessively.Used once it pays for itself compared to going to the barbers. What's not to love about that?

Bought for my husband. He is happy with them, although they don't cut quite as short as he would like. He's now decided to wet shave his head and use these for trimming his beard.

They were OK for the price paid but could be a bit more powerful

they're ok and definitely cut hair however they seem slightly underpowered
