Fantastic!!
Excellent coffee grinder. After a lot of research bought this one as a gift. Good sturdy handle, easy to adjust the setting, looks great too. Loved it so much that the person bought me one for my birthday too. Much better than an electric grinder.

Exclent grinder
I bought this after returning an alternative grinder that had far too many grind steps. I get a consistent grind for filter coffee and the mechanism seems sturdy.I turn the mechanism full clockwise until it won't move, then 'click back' 18 steps and at that setting I get a nice grind. It's also quite easy and not too taxing on the arms to make which was another disadvantage of the one I sent back. It was such an effort to grind it took the joy out of grinding fresh coffee. This grinder is very comfortable. My only criticism is that the metal is quite maleable as I accidentally dropped it in the sink and dented it on the screw thread. I managed to straighten it back out with pliers and a tea towel and it's absolutely fine. It's hardly a complaint as it was my own clumsiness.I'd summarise as a great value coffee grinder that will give you effortless consistency and a far better grind than a cheap electric burr grinder. Recommended!

Perfect
This grinder is amazing. It's precision in how everything fits together and the grind is uniform and fine enough for proper espresso. Had an automatic grinder, but this is so much better and really easy to use. Highly recommended.

Great Quality
Bought this as was looking for a coffee grinder with adjustable settings.Firstly I was impressed with the overall quality. The packaging was good for a start which gave me hope when it arrived. The grinder itself is solid and has a good weight to it which suggests it'll be durable. The paint finish is really good and no defects in it.Comes in three parts, handle, main body with the adjustable Burr and the bottom part for the ground coffee. All of these fit together smoothly as the grinder has clearly been built with care and quality in mind. The handle at the top is wooden, good size so comfortably fits into your palm. The actual ground coffee at the end is good, consistent grind size and easy to adjust to your specific need. Smooth action although as its manual it can take up to a couple of minutes if you've filled the grinding compartment right up. All metal grinding components so should be long lasting.Comes apart nice and easy, so easy to store away once used and if you were travelling with it, it's a nice neat size so shouldn't take up too much room. Quite weighty, but that's due to its solid build.Overall I'm very impressed with this grinder. I'd looked at some cheaper ones on here and got lucky to find this on offer. Having used it now, I'd have happily bought it even if it had been full price. It is well worth spending a bit extra and getting this product over a cheap and cheerful one. With the quality of it I can see it lasting and being worth the money.

Poor quality - didn’t grind
This grinder did not work - I put coffee in the top and ground it for a good 5 mins to find that nothing had gone through to the pot at the bottom. I will be returning the product for a refund.

Best grinder for the price
You will not find a better made coffee grinder for the price, probably even twice the price. The bearings are flawless and it grinds from fine powder for expresso up to huge for cold brew. I'm seriously impressed for under $30.

The best bang for your buck!!
The grinder is extremely well made, aesthetically pleasing, and relatively effortless to use. Which was a concern for me considering this is my first manual grinder, and I really didn't know what to expect.Just make sure you have some hex keys lying around somewhere or you won't be able to disassemble the grinder to clean it.Overall I really don't have anything negative to say about this grinder. 35$ well spend.

Not fine enough for espresso even at the maximum setting (12).
Doesn't serve the purpose I bought it for. Returning.

Great camping grinder
I bought this solely for fresh ground coffee while camping. The grinder does exactly what I wanted it for and easy clean up.Downside is it won’t do espresso grind if you want it for that.Upside it’s all metal and I can’t find a weakness that’ll become a problem

High Quality Materials; Great Design; Grinds Easily and Consistently
SUMMARYPros: This coffee grinder is simple to use, well-made, and well-designed.Cons: Taking apart the burr mill requires special tools; no documentation for the product (warranty information or user guide).IN THE BOX-Grinder Body + Detachable grounds capture container-Hand crank handle-Cleaning brushABOUT THE GRINDERThe grinder body is an aluminum cylinder that houses the stainless steel burr mill. The grinder weighs 564g (or 1 and 1/2 lbs) when fully assembled. The hopper has approximately a 30g capacity, about what you need for a 16oz coffee. It grinds consistently and smoothly; at an average turning pace, it can grind the entire 30g capacity in about a minute. The diameter of the grinder is about 2.5 inches, and it sits about 5.5 inches tall—which, combined with the weight, gives it a comfortable grip and good leverage for grinding. The knob on the crank is also about 2 inches in diameter, making it feel balanced when cranking the grinder. There are settings for adjusting the grind located at the bottom of the mill, which requires the unscrewing of the grounds capture container to access. However, there was no documentation describing how the 1-12 numbers correlated with grinding consistency. I included a photo I found on the product's Amazon page detailing that specific information. The handle/crank slides on and off the bean hopper via a hexagonal connection (similar to a hex key or Allen wrench), making it easy to take on and off.EXPERIENCEOverall I found the Barvivo grinder easy to use but a little tricky to clean thoroughly. It grinds whole coffee beans quickly and with low effort. It produced excellent and consistent coffee grounds for various brewing methods (French Press to Espresso).
