Excellent game
Really pleased with this game. I bought it together with Race to the Treasure because my grandson is very competitive and gets extremely upset when he loses at anything. So I was looking for something which we could enjoy, without having winners and losers and this fits the bill perfectly. There is still the competitive element, as you’re playing against the game, but everyone is on the same side, and it also encourages them to learn to work together. It took a few games before we could remember all the rules without checking back to the instructions, but it is not difficult to learn, and the various different elements help to make it more interesting. Grandchildren are 5, 6 and 7 and all love it.

Great Kids Cooperative game.
It took us a few minutes to work out what to do - but actual game play is simple - it is really nice to play together as a team and decide on strategy etc, much less arguing than with other board games - we love traditional games too. My children are 5 and 7 and I would say those are about the perfect age for this. We have beaten the wizard a few times and been beaten too. The actual game is nicely contructed out of solid card / plastic and seems durable with a nice design.

A fun game and good for team building.
This game was good fun and is made from sturdy materials. There was plenty of opportunity for discussion as a team of what the best moves were for the various players, and therefore teaching good team work. The instructions needed reading a couple of times to understand them and depending on the age of the child/children would probably need an adult to read them. However once we got going with the game we really enjoyed.

NO TWO GAMES ARE THE SAME!
This is a simple, but great co-operative board game where the odds are really stacked against you! This actually serves only to enhance the triumph when you do finally win! We played five games in succession before we actually won against the Wizard! Components are great quality – a lovely large colourful and beautifully circular designed playing board, and it’s also a game that can be played ‘solo’ if so inclined. Due to its subtle mechanics, every game is different! Highly recommended!

Fun game for the family
A fun game for the family. The rules are fairly simple but the mix of dice and strategy means it doesn't get boring. Also since it's not competitive it's nice to play with children who hate losing!

Family fun with no animosity in the end
Our 7 year old is having a hard time loosing in games right now ( he used to be better but it’s a new phase) so this is the first cooperative game we have tried sind we are very impressed. Fun for everyone and no animosity at all in the end. We played two rounds consecutively as it was so good.

Good cooperative game
The board and pieces are well made and packaged and the rules are clearly expressed. Initially this game was a bit complicated and the first couple of times my 5 year old grandson and I played it we had to keep referring back to the rules. Bit once we got used to the different options we speeded up and both enjoyed it. My grandson was able to remember everything and play independently. I would recommend the game but just stick with it initially as there’s a lot to work out when you first start to play.

Quite complex to learn
I bought this for my 6 year old. I think once we have memorised all the different rules it will be great fun but it seems to be more complex than the game I bought for my 8 year old!
