I was looking for a product which would help me get in a deep sleep and stay in a deep sleep state longer and something that would help me avoid prescription medication. After using this product, I noticed that my dreams were more vivid and I would wake feeling more rested. Even when I can't get a full nights rest, I do not wake up feeling groggy. I have been on this particular GABA L Theanine for over a year. Taking it by itself I get minimal results but taking it with organic Ashwaganda 2100mg, (also purchased on Amazon) it’s like my brain has slowed down where I’m able to think and be more rational. I have adult ADHD and it is a blessing not to have to take prescription medicine. If you are taking this GABA L Theanine and you are not getting the results you want add organic Ashwaganda 2100mg. I take both together in the mornings on an empty stomach. I have not had any bad reactions, but I know each individual is different with different circumstances. I would consult your doctor before taking any over-the-counter supplements and I would also research the supplements.

I have insomnia and issues keeping my wake/sleep cycle in check. I know gaba is a great natural non-prescription requires option to help with this situation. However, it doesn’t hit the same way sleeping pills, Benadryl or Dramamine does. If you’re working on you’re wake sleep cycle where you wake up at a decent hour and you’re hoping you can get to sleep at a decent hour to turn that cycle into a habit this can help BUT take it regularly.I also have absorption issues and this liposomal version does seem to make a difference to me compared to some non-liposomal versions I’ve taken in the past.I also find it helpful, if you have absorption issues as well, to have an earlier dinner so my stomach is a little more empty and ready to process my night time supplements.

I’ve tried many GABA supplements for sleep/anxiety. GABA works as the “brakes” for our nervous system. Well I lost my brakes lol and it affected me sleep at night as well as having anxiety during the day. I was about to give up because I didn’t find much relief from other GABA products….until this one! I’m getting a relaxing restful sleep and wake up feeling refreshed not “drugged or groggy.” This product is the first that really impressed me. I'm not too familiar with the company or the production - I know it says made in UK - but I bought this to replace or at least augment a different multi-ingredient stress management supplement which also contained GABA and L-Theanine, along with some other components. I was looking specifically to focus on my sleep quality, so I wanted to add more GABA and decided to shift away from things containing Ashwaghanda (figured it was time to cycle off). I know GABA I've also found the research on L-Theanine pretty compelling so I was looking for something that would continue to bolster my levels of that. At 200mg it's better than the amount in my previous stress supplement, so that's a nice side benefit.I actually do notice better quality sleep and, specifically, REM sleep, when I take this - both in terms of my memory of dreams and in what my Whoop tracks. So everyone's physiology is different but I'm pretty happy with this addition to my supplement routine. I think it's pretty price-competitive as well. A little more info about the manufacturer would be nice but the made-in-UK and EcoCert is a good start. I plan to continue using it.
