The Sofirn Q8 flashlight is an absolute powerhouse and has become my go-to flashlight, always kept within arm’s reach by my bed. Its incredible high power is one of its standout features, providing a brilliantly bright beam that can illuminate an entire room or backyard with ease. Whether it’s for emergencies or late-night tasks, the Q8 delivers reliable performance every time. I also appreciate its long battery life, which ensures I’m never caught off guard when I need it most. The durable construction and solid grip make it feel rugged and dependable, while its compact design allows it to be easily stored or carried. With multiple brightness levels and an intuitive interface, the Sofirn Q8 is a versatile and trustworthy flashlight that’s perfect for any situation.

There's absolutely no need for this light, but it's worth every penny.
Comes with Sofirn's batteries which are decent enough. With some Molicell high amperage batteries, these lights get even more ridiculous. It's an extremely bright light. You'll need to learn Anduril 2 UI to get the most out of it, but even on the basic settings you have a light brighter than anything you've probably ever held in your hand. It's NOT a spot light, it doesn't have a distinct beam. This is a hand held flood light with more potency than most plug in models ever dreamed of.Onboard USB C chargingAnduril 2Insane amount of modes from 10 lumen *which lasts literally for weeks on a charge) to burning the batteries in less than 30 minutes. It's a very awesome handheld light and as I said before, probably the brightest thing you've ever held in your hand. It does get HOT on turbo, and it gets HOT fast.I purchases the silicon diffuser for mine from Sofirn direct since it wasn't listed on Amazon. On lower settings it's sat on a tripod for 6-8 hours making fishing spots visible enough for everything we need. And it doesn't drain batteries fast when used at a low-medium setting. I've had it on for almost 10 hours and the batteries still showed 3.8v (which is quite awesome considering I had a portable 100w light bulb all night). It's definitely able to make people gasp with how bright it can be. But it's biggest strength is the fact that it runs off 4 21700 cells and can last for literally days on lower settings. And it can charge your phone in a pinch as well.

Excellent choice.
I just received this light and am amazed at the light output. Comparing it to some of my other lights, the output is visually similar to that of my Imalent MS08 which, has a lumen rating almost double thatof the Q8. Now to be honest, the beam of the MS08 covers a larger area so it is somewhat disbursed butagain, the Q8 is very close at midpoint. I elected the 6000-6005K option as I prefer the whitest output.Never have cared whether foliage looks more realistic with K numbers at 5,000k or lower. On arrival the batteries were charged to 3.9v, 3.9v and 3.75v respectively. I have never been a fan of charging my lights via the USB port, I prefer charging on a stand alone charger so I can monitor each cell. In doing so, I noticed that the cells would not fit in my Nitecore D4 charger, I had to use my Vapcell S4 plus or my Gyrafalcon AII-44.I had thought about either the Sofirn IF30 or, the Wurkkos TS32, glad I decided on the Q8. Build quality is excellent. I also did not opt for the battery upgrade staying with the standard 21700 Sofirn batts. While the higher output batts like Lichen do put out more power, I read a few reviews they also ruined the light. So far , zero complaints on this item. Will update in the future if things change but I have no problem highly recommending the Q8 to those who want a high quality led light that turns night into day.One additional note on this, if you are not familiar with the Andruil 2.0 operating system, it's very useful and funto play with. Also, for the one reviewer who was upset that the power butting always stays illuminated, you can adjust this in the Andruil 2.0 settings to either have it on, dim, flashing or completely off. Finally, thanks to Amazon for the price reduction saving me $27 and the overnight delivery.

Tighten the unit for it to light!
Returned first unit ordered as it would not light. Was about to return second replacement for same issue when I did a web search of the problem. Turns out top and bottom of the unit must be screwed together very very tight, well past when you think its tight enough. Light turned right on. Otherwise, nice well made flashlight. Sofirn should make a note of the need to really tighten the unit in its instructions.

FANTASTIC Flashlight!
What’s up Amazonians I purchased this flashlight because I wanted a high-powered flashlight. I waited for it to go on sale to maybe try to save a few bucks and I did do that but I received the flashlight as of this post 24 hours ago and I can’t seem to get the flashlight going. I’ve charged it for about 10 hours and nothing, it’s not responding in any way shape or form unless it’s plugged in the only way the light seems to work somewhat is if it’s plugged in if I unplug it running on straight batteries, it doesn’t do anything I don’t know what’s wrong I don’t know if I got a faulty flashlight, but as of right now, this thing has been pure junk If anything changes I’ll post it.EDIT: I purchase this flashlight back in February it is now September I finally figured out the flashlight, how to charge it properly and use it. It took me about a month to figure it out. It is not user-friendly by any means and the instructions are horrendous but if you keep at it you won’t regret it. This is a fantastic flashlight. It’s tremendously powerful and it provides the sunlight at night when needed. The unit does get very hot after about three minutes on high or close to it You may have to turn it off or put it down till it cools down. the batteries last quite a long time. I can go about a week before having to recharge it and I use it every night when I go out with my dogs in the yard at night. if there was any way I could give this 10 stars I would..
