I had to wait for 5 years to buy this CPU for 300 euros, refurbished.

Amazing! Sure i had to sell my house, my car, one of my kidneys and my soul but it was worth it, now i can play minecraft at 128k at 500000fps

had this for 2 years almost and price still same nice?

Great CPU, ignore the 1 star reviews most are idiots, it's probably not worth it for most people but if you have the money and/or work in the computer industry this is great, for gamers with a budget go with a I7 7700k.

took a bit of fondling, but i manged to fit it into my Nintendo 3DS, great fps on mario

A raíz de las ultimas noticias publicadas acerca del fallo de seguridad de los procesadores de la marca Intel, recomiendo no comprar este producto hasta que no se haya publicado una lista de los procesadores afectados por este fallo.Es una lastima que Intel una vez mas tenga fallas en sus productos, esto va a afectar a la larga la reputación de la marca.

So stable and powerfull.. I'm happy to see that many recent games use multi cores nowadays so I won't benefit of this gem just for video editing.I have to say that the first one I received was damaged in the box but thanks to Amazon, a quick replacement turned things right in record time.

Ich hatte (gezwungenermaßen) vorher einen Xeon E5-2680 v3 auf einem Asus Rampage V Edition 10. Obwohl dieser 12 Cores (24 Threads) hat laufen diese maximal auf 2,9 GHz (wenn alle Cores unter Last stehen). Übertakten ist bei Xeons nicht möglich.Habe mir dann diese CPU zugelegt und erst mal "Ratio by Usage" von Standard 30 auf 40 festgelegt, sodass beanspruchte Cores direkt auf 4 GHz takten und nicht beanspruchte weiterhin auf min. 1,2 GHz idlen.Es funktionierte ohne Probleme. Mit einer Corsair H115i Wasserkühlung kommt die CPU (Package) in synthetischen Benchmarks bei Volllast auf 57°C. Im Idle läuft sie auf knapp 40°C.Die Xeon-CPU war etwas kühler (da diese nur 120W TDP anstelle der 140W TDP des 6950X hat), hat aber trotz der 2 weiteren Cores insgesamt weniger Leistung aus diese Extreme Edition.Auch wenn die Preis/Leistung nicht gerade gut ist, ist diese CPU das schnellste was der Sockel 2011v3 bieten kann.

skylake-xが待てなかったので買ってみました。使用用途によりますがゲーム用に購入する方は過度な期待はしない方がいいです。全コア4.2hzにocしてシングルコアが6700k定格と同程度でした。私はエンコードも動画や写真の編集、加工などしないので完全に物欲を満たす為の買い物です。ゲーム用で組むなら7700k辺りのCPUにグラボをgtx1060 1070 1080のどれかでいいと思います。最後にメモリを無駄に128gb積めたので満足。

This walks the line nicely between enthusiast and server grade....and anyone that owns this chip can tell you, the price is justified, in fact, it might even be a little low considering what you're getting here.This has been stated so many times but, most of us that are in the market for this chip, we have required workloads and this chip makes sense...but to anyone who's primary reason for owning this chip is something like gaming or just because you are an enthusiast that always upgrades, this is NOT a chip for any of that kind of stuff. I'm sure Intel would love to make that sale but you're probably not going to be very happy with your purchase. But if you're into editing, transcoding, streaming, scrubbing through tons of data, rendering, and still have power in reserve to play GTA V on your PG279Q ROG Swift (or similar) while Premier is running, and have plenty of horsepower to do both without a hiccup, then this is definitely a chip you should consider.***Update*** Remember there is always the silicon lottery to consider when purchasing a processor. That's definitely going to come into play when you go and overclock these things. Will this Broadwell-E OC as well as the 5960x? NO!! But that shouldn't be news to anyone who actually needs and uses processors at this level. As the rule goes, the higher your core count, the slower your clock speed...because of the extra heat generated from having more cores.With all of that being said, using my Rampage V Edition 10, Corsair ax1500i, 8dimms of Dominator Platinum DDR4 clocked at 2800MHz (gotta bring your RAM down when pushing your CPU or you will find instability, especially with this processor) I easily am sitting at 4.4GHz @ 1.29v on all 10 cores...but I'd say this one is a lottery winner and I wouldn't expect but a handful of these to get to 4.4 stable on this low voltage. I pushed for 4.5 but didn't want to go to 1.35, after all we're talking about $1700 here...but man this thing is smokin' fast. Cinebench15 scores 2225 on the OC (2 EVGA GTX 1080 FE's w/EVGA hybrid kits OC'd to 2139mhz each in SLI)
