Proxxon 28512 Drilling and Milling Machine MicroMOT 60 / EF

Comfortable to grip and use for extended periods - tested it on wood carving, rock cutting/engraving and glass etching - found it to be very controllable and easy to use. It's also quieter than I was expecting - which is another plus. Does require the Proxxon Power Transformer which must be purchased separately - would also recommend purchasing the Proxxon Footswitch as it makes operating it a lot safer.

Really impressed by this have had a cheap rotary tool for a few years and the collets kept breaking, love the keyless chuck so no more broken collets and can fit all my attachments from 2.3mm to 1/8th of inch up to 5mm drill bit Very impressed

Very good German produced a small and useful rotary tool , excellent using it with wooden ship modelling.

Good tool and works well

I first put an order for the drill with the seller CW Tyzack because they showed on Amazon they had stock on the 19th May. The delivery dates given were the 24th/25th May. A bit long but I can wait. I received an email on the 22nd to say the drill had been dispatched. But no tracking details were given. On the 26th May nothing had turned up and the Amazon message I got was "we are running late but its on its way." So I messaged the seller asking if they have dispatched the drill as I haven't received anything? Explaining that I need it for a job. This is the reply I got. "Hi sorry for the delay, The proxxon has just arrived and is booked in out system, then we will dispatch asap" I thanked them for their reply and asked when will I receive the drill and the answer I got was next week. I waited then on the 1st June I message the seller again asking. "It's the 1st now and still not received the drill. Can you tell me when it was sent and with who?" On 2nd June I received this reply. "hi, still waiting for this to come in, should be anyday. or you ok to hang on or i can refund and let you know once in. regards" With this I decided to give up with this seller and asked for a refund. All the way though this saga they were still showing they had stock! I did a web search and found a tool-shop in Swindon that said they had the drill in stock. I rang them up to confirm they had stock and I got the drill the following day plus it was £3 cheaper even with the fast delivery. Excellent service. As for the Proxxon drill. That gets 5 stars. It is an excellent piece of kit. I already have their 12v transformer with speed control and with the speed control on the drill as well. It allows you to sand, cut and drill even plastic without melting it. I am slowing moving from Dremel to Proxxon.

This little tool has a sweet feel and great balance!! It also runs true. It is the third in a line of attempts to get another tool to take some of the load of my Foredom tookl, and from having to do all of my work on my primary heavier duty Foredom cable tool. I bought a cordless model at Harbor Freight that came with only one battery. And the battery lasted all of about 15 minutes on a charge! Ridiculous! Then I was considering a cordless "Dremmel Micro". It looked like a nice tool, but it is a rechargeable stand tool, and it only comes with one battery. And coming out of the box with just one battery was unacceptable to me, for a tool that costs nearly 100 dollars by the time you pay the taxes on it. What was Dremmel thinking? So I tried a Dremmel model 2100 that costs around 65 dollars, 71 dollars + some change after taxes..And when I got home and chucked up a tool.and started trying it out, it did not run true, or even close to it. There was so much end wobble that my1/64th burr became at least a 1/32nd one while it was running. And I have seen this very sane complaint about Dremmel allot lately. How can Dremmel allow such poor quality tools to be put out on the shelves? Anyway, I had previous experience with Proxxon, and I loved my old Proxxon A/C tool. But sadly, I tried to use it in a situation where I really should have been using at least a small side grinder, and in so doing, I burned a resistor out in it. Now I am looking forward to using this new DC Proxxon version. Anyone who compares the feel and the much smaller grip area and the relative lightness of this tool compared to most of these other brands type tools will probably be spoiled to this Proxxon tool from now on!

Excellent outil que j'utilise en magasin pour l'entretien et la rénovation de cigarette méca en cuivre et laiton! J'ai été agréablement surpris de la qualité de cette fraiseuse, elle semble solide et fiable! On peut bien régler la vitesse de rotation de cette dernière et elle n'est pas trop lourde ce qui permet de l'utiliser facilement comme un gros stylo pour travailler en précision! Je la recommande vivement!

Fick en annan PROXXON produkt än vad som beställts. Återsände den felaktiga produkten, men har fortfarande efter 8 månader inte fått ersättning!!!!!
