Went to London and Paris. Used this item and it worked very well. It automatically converted from one current 220 down to 110. As for the complaints of the heat output. I noticed it was much hotter when it was plugged into 110 outlet vs 220 european outlet but still performed well enough on both currents The only con is there is no temperature adjustment.and it has a wide gap so you need thick hair for it to grab on to.

Love that this is two products in one! Saves so much space and I no longer need to plan ahead with how I'm going to do my hair and if I should bring a curling iron or flat iron. It also has a nice case too. I would have given this 5 stars if there were multiple heat settings, but it's either on or it's not. Switching from using it as a flat iron vs a curling iron was easy to do. This would be great for anyone who travels and wants to minimize the amount of stuff they take.

I was so excited to try this out for my trip to Europe. I did not need the straightener part but needed the curling iron part. My hair is straight but not that thick. It would not curl my hair. I even tried using a smaller amount of my hair to no avail. The other thing that I had a problem with is that the cord kept winding around the handle with each curl. I had to stop and keep unwinding it. It definitely was not for me. I honestly can't say how the hair straightener works because I did not use it. It may work well for that ?? I do like the size for travel and that you can immediately put the cover on it even when it is hot. Hope this is helpful.

I purchased this for travel and have been delighted with the results. The curl keeps like no other regular sized curling iron. Being able to not have completely dry hair is also a bonus. Great deal at a great price! (Yes the cord gets tangled, but it’s a minimal nuisance)

Exactly as pictured. However, no directions were enclosed, so it took 3-4 uses before figuring out how to use the curling iron part. Both the curling iron and hair straightener features work great.

Love this little accessory, goes on every trip with me, works perfectly.

The size is good for traveling but the grip to hold the hair is awful. My thick wavy hair just slides right through it and doesn't even straighten it. The curling iron grip is better.

I like them because they are a flat iron and a curling iron...
