ideal for oven
This is the perfect osram bulb - works well. Only quibble would have been the packaging could have been a little more careful given the fragile nature of a bulb.

It's a bulb
It's a halogen bulb (remember those?) ,what else is there to add?Price was good. Wasn't particularly impressed by the bulb's box having been crushed but the bulb seemed to survive OK.

Bulb packaging at fault
This was a tiny halogen oven bulb packed in a foolscap sized envelope and the bulb carton was totally crushed. It’s a miracle the bulb survived. Suggest packers need better guidance.

Make sure you handle these correctly
I bought some as a replacement for the bulb in my oven. When I tried to install the first one I got the angle wrong and ended up breaking the contacts out of the glass. I then tried another and took it carefully and no problem.
