You could get more information in a single webpage on any reputable home improvement site. Most pages are 4 to 6 sentences (not an exaggeration) of large type and ridiculous spacing. The "information" is mostly stuff anyone with minimal experience or even basic common sense would know. One example: I figured the "chapter" on "drying out crawlspaces" would include various vapor membrane and insulation options and the specific merits and applicability of each. Rather, the "chapter" is FOUR SENTENCES with the author's sole advice being to "Leave a fan running for a few hours and I'm pretty sure the moisture (and flooding) will be gone by then." The chapter on water diversion doesn't include any information on drainage systems, and simply explains that yards graded towards a house can cause water problems in basements. Wow, thanks for the insight.
