GMO Free Diet: How to stay healthy by identifying and avoiding dangerous foods

Very Educational!
This book raises awareness, to be honest I didn’t realize that GMO foods were still such an issue in the US as I have never lived there and it is banned in my native country as well as where I live now.A while ago, I wrote a blog article about my fave vegan recipes that included a lot of soy products, tofu and soy milk( I love that stuff) and I sent it to an American friend of mine to proofread. She got back to me saying: ‘you recommend way too many of soya product, that’s my main concern’. This is how I learned that GMO are a really big issue in the US and that I should update my blog post accordingly. I started researching and thanks to Amazon I came across this book and it did meet my expectations. The info contained is well-researched and there is even the whole list of the companies that should be avoided. I was shocked to see that the government can do such a horrible thing to its citizens and I definitely think that more and more people should stand up and fight for REAL foods. Good read, I learned a lot and I am happy that thanks to this book I didn’t have to waste my time researching the endless forums that are not always the best source of reliable information.

You need to learn about this subject.
Ok every American needs to be aware of this issue and asking their Congresspersons and Senators why they are doing nothing, and in many cases blocking efforts, to at least allow the labeling of foodstuff indicating the presence of these crops. You should be able to make informed decisions about what you eat. And it is made extremely difficult without disclosed labeling. You have the right to decide if you want to eat this stuff or not but you need to be aware of the evidence and it would appear that as usual big money if spending to hide the truth from us.This book has led me to other informative sources and I'm working to go organic now.

Good primer on GMOs and how to recognize and eliminate them
Great background information on genetically modified foods and common sense advice on how to eliminate them from our lives. I am embarking on a GMO-free diet and was looking for more than just what I've read online. I already knew about 75 percent of what the author mentioned, but he did a good job laying it all out there to let the reader decide for himself.

Highly recommend "G.M.O. Free Diet" by Matthew Johnson
Very informative and straight-to-the-point. It can certainly be disheartening when you realize just how prevalent and debilitating G.M.Os are to the environment, and all forms of life. In turn, it's easy to feel overwhelmed when it comes to making safer and healthier food choices for you and your family, especially with no required G.M.O labeling on food products. With "G.M.O. Free Diet", Matthew Johnson reminds us we are not helpless when it comes to the food that we put into our bodies. He lists which brands to avoid altogether, dispels G.M.O. myths, and discusses simple ways to help one confidently navigate through this G.M.O.-infested world we live in. As a bonus, you may even find that you save money along the way....Good read!

Every American needs to read this book.
This is probably one of the most important books you can read. And I really do mean this. I am a big believer that most of our disease we suffer in the modern world comes from our diet. ESPECIALLY if you are an American. GMOs are sanctioned poison.I am a big health nut and Paleo guy and the first thing you realize is that GMO food is killing us. I am already making steps to rid my diet of such things, but this book is a life saver on the steps and so forth to help you do it. If you care about your health or the health of your love ones read this book.

Good quick Information
easy to read and quick book with just a taste of GMO information. If you are interested in GMO it will be a good starting book with information to help make more informed choices when shopping for groceries. I do recommend this book. I had moments of "what the...are you serious." and it peaked my interest even more into GMO and its affect and effect.

Where are the Sources?
This book is great in theory. From a logical thinking standpoint it makes a lot of sense and is probably factual. I wish there were cited sources for the independent studies and regulations mentioned as part of this book. It would give it some credibility. It was very obvious it was written from the perspective of the author and his subjective opinion on the subject vs. being technically written and cited. I would have been up for a longer read that had a little more substance.

Save your body and arm yourself with knowledge!!!!!!!!
I am a ND that gives monthly seminars twice a month and one of the things that have been coming up is when am I going to do a seminar on GMO'S? Well, after reading this eye opening and entrancingly informative piece of writing, I am running to get as much information as I can on GMO's. Esp. since I am seeing more and more clients come into my office with signs and issues that are leading back, I firmly believe, to GMO's and the adulteration of our food sources!!!
