Roald Dahl's Classic Tales [DVD]

I bought this dvd set for my 5yr old for christmas as we had been reading her the books. She hss a couple of other films such as Matilda which she loves. These are the original films from the 80's and even though the sound quality is what youd expect from nearly 20 yr old products these are classic stories beautifully filmed with some big name stars. Its a joy to watch along with my daughter without any fancy 3D animation etc taking away the gravitas of the writing. I would reccomend these films for any children but probably a bit older than 5 as they can be a bit dark in places. Anyone familiar with Roald Dahl will know what i mean. All in all an excellent value box set

Paid around £10.00 and it’s worth that for wonka alone. Not watched other 2 films yet but great value for money and plays great on DVD player. No issues with quality and picture filled the screen. A classic. Thanks

I loved Danny the Champion of the World when I was a primary teacher and could only find this version. I look forward to watching it
