We've all been there, running late for work and can't find your keys; left your phone on silent but can't remember where it is; the kids have taken your wallet/purse for some change and put it where???? Argh, such a nightmare! I know but what if you could have a small everyday carry (EDC) Key Finder Tool with an easy-to-use App that could find your keys, phone, wallet/purse or any of your common misplaced everyday items in seconds. And yes, I mean in seconds. Wouldn't this be such a help. I'm sure it would! Simply stick, attach or place our EDC Key Finder Tool inside you precious items and keep track of them with our easy-to-use App (compatible devices: Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.4 and later system and iPhone (iPhone4s, iPhone5, iPhone5s, iPhone6, iPhone6 plus) and iPads (iPad3, iPad4, iPad air, iPad mini, iPad mini 2)).

Excellent little gadget? Not as good as it seemed, alas.
On first inspection this seems to be an excellent little gadget. It's a fob that fits on a keyring, and if the keys and your phone are separated the phone plays whichever notifying tune you have selected in the app. There is a map which shows where that was, in case you cannot immediately locate the keys or you didn't hear the alarm. The keyfob does emit a helpful squeak, but it isn't very loud and in a noisy environment would not be a lot of help. There is a spare battery included: I have not investigated, but the screw to open the case would need a very small cross-head screwdriver. It looks like a job to be undertaken with care. One point to notice is that if you go to airplane mode, so breaking the contact between phone and keyfob, the alarm sounds at full volume even if you have the phone volume at zero. Not quite the effect you may be aiming for in that important meeting! So you have to open the app and turn off the alarm before you go to airplane mode. Even then it generates an on-screen warning about contact loss. It doesn't track in airplane mode.If you have keys that you cannot afford to lose, and which should stay with the phone, this seems to offer a good safeguard.One point that may bother some. The app will not run unless you allow it to take pictures and videos, record audio, read and modify your SD card, connect a disconnect WiFi, draw over other apps, control flashlight and notifications, install shortcuts and change your wallpaper. I can't see any justification for most of those. There are others as well, but they seem less unexpected and less intrusive. It doesn't seem to monitor emails or monitor the websites visitedI will add more if anything turns up to change these first impressions., which are generally positive but with some reservations.EDIT: I have found that I get two or three false alarms per day, even though the phone and fob are both in my pockets. Also, my phone cannot run Bluetooth in addition to GPS and the phone all day without a recharge. So, I have cut my review from 4 stars to two.
