Good solid product
My husband wanted to recreate the rumtopf he'd seen on the Continent whilst serving with the RAF during the 80s and 90s, and located this pot. It's plain but solidly made and does the job admirably. We actually bought two and filled both with the fruit, sugar and rum, then gave the second one as a gift to friends. They love it too, and the finished product! Lovely on a cold winter's evening, in front of the fire after a hard day's gardening.

Good but not perfect
As described so pretty happy. Only issue is that there is a chip on the lid which someone has tried to paint over but the colour doesn't exactly match. Makes me wonder if they are shipping 2nd's......

Perfect Rum Pot
This pot is ideal, good fitting lid which overlaps the pot itself. Very understated. We've started off making the rum and fruit mix and although it's not cheap to make it is going to be perfect for Christmas - if we can leave it that long!

Just what I wanted
I had looked everywhere to try and buy a Rumtoft container and could not find one.Well worth paying the P&P .Looking forward to enjoying the Rum soaked fruit next Christmas

Nice looking kraut pot but find the water seal channel too small,
The water evaporates from it overnight. Have seen other pots with much larger seals. It remains to be seen if this effects the kraut. First batch went moldy but I had gone away for about 3 days with out checking on it.This pot does not come with the stones to submerge the kraut...and no instructions whatsoever.
