For best results Prime surface with Silverhook "Grey primer"(spb02). for a durable finish Use Silverhook "SILVER metallic" Spray paint (Spm03). direction of use: ensure area to be treated is free from wax, oil, grease, etc. Prepare the surface with wet and dry abrasive paper. Mask around treatment area then shake can vigorously for at least 2 minutes. For compatibility, test on a similar surfaces. Spray using a back and forth action at a distance of 25cm (thinly applied coats built up at 15 minutes intervals will achieve best results). leave for 24 hours to harden. Very impressed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real chrome effect *by P***. on 27 September 2025* Great coverage and unlike some other sprays this really looks like chrome Would recommend 👍🏻 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tricky but doable *by M***E on 9 December 2019* So I did 3 different tests with this. All three on plastic, with primer and High Gloss black base coat. X3 layers of black... 1st waited for gloss to fully harden 24hrs later and applied chrome on a light mist of 3x coats. 2nd waited 30mins from last black coat and applied chrome on 3x coats. 3rd applied chrome immediately after putting down the black can. Oddly the test worked the opposite way to what I expected... The shiniest, most reflective and 'mirror' like end result was from the 3rd test (wet test) not the dry tests. Second best was the 2nd test (1hr curing) and the worst was the 24hr dry test. I did not expect that! So I did this outside on a warm ish day with little to no wind in the sun (24hr one left the plastic in house overnight to dry). No spray booths or in a heated environment (so this could play different end results).
