Lovely Mat Follas, the winner of Masterchef has come up with a lovely book full of recipes that do not need expensive gadgets or a degree in cooking. Most, if not all of these recipes are very doable for most cooks.We are attempting the recipe on the front cover tonight.Lovely illustrations of each dish for those who like pictures and not a huge list of ingredients.If you like fish, you will like this.

Bought for my husband to go with the fish filleting/boning knife he got for a Christmas present. Good recipes, instructions & colourful photos too. I would have liked a few more photos on how to fillet/prepare different types of fish etc.However, depending on where you live you may struggle to find some of the fish.

Exactly what I'd expect from Mat, easy to follow recipes, clear instructions, good photography. Not often I buy a book where I want to try every recipe but this book is exactly that.Several recipes already made and I'm loving the sauce recipes included with easy to follow tricks of the trade learnt through Mat's restaurant kitchens but the final quality is exactly what I'd expect from a Masterchef winner.This book has taken pride of place in my collection

Bought for my father as a stocking filler, the recipes are easy to follow, practical, and interesting, a great book to actually use in the kitchen.

A really great book with easy to follow recipes, I have tried a few and they have all come out really good.I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to cook fish to restaurant standard.

Excellent book that covers most fishy things that can be caught off the west coast of Scotland plus a recipe for Razors!

The book is well presented and the photos of the various dishes are droolworthy. The instructions for the recipes are easy to follow and the results are impressive. I would highly recommend this book for people who would like to start cooking fish.
