Bought to shave off the knots on my cats fur. Good item. Noise level quite high. Did the job.

When first tried out they were fine but after a while they do not cut so well even after using the WAHL oil that is for sharpening them the blades are blunt and pull the hair rather than cut. So would not recommend these as a long term item. Had to replace them after 4 months.

My dog doesn’t like me to cut the fur between her pads, so I thought this looked a great idea, absolutely rubbish, it doesn’t cut the hair at all, feels really cheap, it’s not as quiet as I thought, waste of money

I am extreamly pleased with the wahl pet trimmer i purchasedit works very well and is not noisy so does not upset or frighten my Jack Russell at allI do not have any photos or vidio of her since i trimmed herI think it is going to take time for me to become proficient but it certainly works wellits me that needs practicehowever i am able to keep the fur around her face tidy not to mention not having to take her to the groomers very often nowalthough I think she is still going to need One sesion a yearJim Ashton

This arrived today and I was shocked at how noisy it was. My dog was a little nervous of it, but he let me tidy his face, so I will keep it. It trims well! If your dog is nervous, this isn't for you. I had the cheaper, small face clipper from Wahl beforehand, but it had little power, even with a new Duracell battery, but it was much quieter!Also the batteries supplied were totally dead. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.

I bought this trimmer with a view to using it to clip off some very small matts on my very elderly long haired cat.My expectations of the product were realistic owing to its inexpensive price yet when it arrived it looked to be of decent quality and I was hopeful all would be well.Being battery operated it vibrates quite alot and isnt the quietest-my cat is deaf so the noise isnt an issue but it maybe to others.What it doesnt do easily is shave off small matts I found that it just snagged + pulled at the hair,vibrated alot and didnt cut, and even though my cat is incredibly patient even he got fed up!If you are considering it to remove any sort of knot I would say buy something more expensive and fit for purpose this isnt the product for you.In its defense it does say it is a trimmer and I suspect it may well trim normal dog hair but I dont think it is designed with cats in mind as their hair is too fine.

Good for price-value relation

Amazon replaced the first model which would not switch on after first use. I like this one and it has a range of attachments which are unfortunately slightly awkward to fit, but it does the job. I chose this model as it has the lowest db sound rating of a number of Wahl trimmers. but it still sounds like an incoming squadron of killer bees and my dog gets quite nervous when it gets close to him. Curiously the sound level drops considerably when the trimmer is held very tight. Perhaps an engineering issue.

Wahl should be ashamed of having their name in this product. It simply does not work. It won't even cut the finest hair on my cat. Absolute garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

The media could not be loaded. Habe den Trimmer in einem Papierumschlag bekommen der ungefüttert war. Entsprechend ist die Packung etwas beschädigt, was mich aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Ich habe den Trimmer aus der , ansonsten bombensicheren Verpackung rausgeholt und fand ihn schön angenehm in der Hand liegend. Die Scherkopfbreite beträgt 3cm und ist für meine Katze perfekt geeignet um ihre kleineren Verfilzungen zu entfernen. So dachte ich….Bis ich die Batterien (sind beiliegend!) eingelegt und den Trimmer eingeschaltet habe!!!Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben was ich zuerst dachte!OMG 😱…. Ist das Ding laut!!!Per LärmApp nachgeprüft: 91 dB!! Leute, geht‘s noch??? Welches Tier lässt sich damit bearbeiten??Wenn der Hersteller meint 91dB sind „leise und ideal für nervöse Tiere“ dann sind die Tiere entweder taub oder tot!! Selbst eine Vollnarkose wäre bei nervösen Tieren angesichts der Lautstärke völlig wirkungslos!Bei dieser Lautstärke müssten sogar Menschen, allen voran Kinder mit Gehörschutz (!!) beim Haareschneiden ausgestattet werden!!! Siehe Foto bzw. Video…Absolut NICHT zu empfehlen!!! Und somit völlig unbrauchbar…Der eine Stern ist für die Handlichkeit des Geräts!

Funziona ma rumoroso

No corta demasiado bien, pero aún así, lo peor es el ruido. A no ser que tu perro esté sordo, prepárate para que lo pase tan mal como con los petardos.

No me gusta nada. He usado otras de este tipo y no hacen la mitad de ruido que esta. Y teniendo en cuenta que es para zonas concretas, hasta el perro mas acostumbrado se asusta.
