Pond'sCold Cream Cleanser 9.5oz/269g Jar

I have quite sensitive skin so I was hesitant to try this, but I’ve been struggling to find a cleanser that easily removes makeup, particularly mascara without damaging my lashes. This has been perfect ! It melts my makeup off easily and removes my mascara with very little effort.It does seem lightly scented but it doesn’t react with my skin at all, and it’s really soft and gentle. It doesn’t burn or turn my skin red, and instead almost had a bit of a cooling sensation. After a few days use I haven’t noticed any breakouts, in fact my skin seems to be clearing up more.I’m still figuring out the best way to remove it, I’ve recently tried a damp cleansing mitt / cloth and that seems to do the trick ! A little really does go a long way with this as well. I do wash any residue off with a water based cleanser, although I know some people simply wipe it off and I’m curious to try that as well.

This is a very old brand, but still the best makeup remover cold cream in my opinion, and with exceptional qualities. The soft thick cream melts in your skin and it removes all traces of makeup in seconds. It can be used all over the face and the eyes. The consistency is soft and thick and it doesn't sting the eyes. You can use it on eyelashes and eyelids, as well as face and lips. It leaves a film on your skin when the soft white paste turns into a clear oily ointment, therefore rinsing and / or toning is highly recommended. This is the best makeup remover, second to none. I have used it for theatrical makeup, which is notoriously difficult to remove, and it can be used on waterproof makeup.

This cold cream is ideal for taking off eye make-up as long as you use it sparingly. It's also very good for your skin generally. This is quite a big jar and so good value.

Pond's cold cream is the number 1 make-up remover and has been for decades used by generations of women. It has also been used by actors in theatre and film as it removes every type of make-up effortlessly leaving the skin clean and soft and doesn't clog the pores. I highly recommend this product especially to those with sensitive skin as it became a best friend to me after getting a severe allergic reaction to a make-up foundation in 1985 and I couldn't use water on my face or neck for a month, after applying it I would remove with tissues and I do believe it also helped in the recovery process. I haven't seen a jar of Pond's cold cream this big since 1986 so I will be buying a few more as they are also great value for money.

I've been using this since the early 90s when I was a teen because my mother used it. In the last few years, I decided to try more modern makeup removers, but none of them were as good as this. They were either too drying, ineffective at cleaning makeup off completely, or were irritating to my sensitive, eczema prone skin which has never even tolerated any normal skincare products. I literally never cleanse, tone or moisturise my face because my skin can't tolerate most products. The only cleanser that my face can tolerate is Cetaphil, but that doesn't really remove stubborn makeup. Ponds Cold Cream does, and it does it very well. It also makes the skin very soft and moisturised after I've used it. Normally I wash my face with water only, in the shower, that's all I use. Well, if I had makeup on, I'd remove it with Ponds Cold Cream first, then jump in the shower and wash my face with warm water. It works fine like this. I have never had a problem with my skin and don't get pimples this way. I can't believe I'm still using this product now at 44 years old. And my 16 year old daughter switched to Ponds Cold Cream for makeup removal since last year as well, after trying many contemporary makeup removal products on the market and not being happy with them. This product really stood the test of time.

Cheap. Lasts for ever and is brilliant and removing make up. Has saved my dry skin. Highly recommend

You can spent £££ on fancy cleansing creams, but they would never do as good a job this. It may be considered a bit old fashioned, but this leaves my face clean and my skin so soft.

I love this cream. I use it to remove my make up and it does wonders. I use a cloth at the end but most of the time it’s just easy to apply with my hands. It makes my skin feel smooth and moisturised and it doesn’t irritate me at all. It’s not greasy and its easily removable and spreadable with water. A little goes a long way, I have had it for a while now and I’m not even half way through. I do really recommend.

(repurchase) i love ponds (have been using it since i was 16) because of its feeling on the skin, working well with sensitive skin and keeping it soft without clogging pores. the tub is big and lasts forever, and it’s definitely worth the money.

è un buon prodotto, un po' caro ma pur sempre il più conveniente sul mercato. Mi piacciono le creme in barattolo e questa fa per me. Ci si può sprofondare il dito e usarla tutta fino in fondo. Strucca bene, ma non uso prodotti waterproof, per cui non posso valutarla in questo senso.

This item was purchased for my husband. He has been using Ponds Cold Cream since he was a young man in India. For awhile we were not able to get the product in the stores in Canada, they discontinued carrying it so I was pleased we could order it from Amazon.

Diesen Reiniger habe ich auf Empfehlung der wunderbaren Make-Up-Artistin Letitia Lemak gekauft und wusste daher schon vorher, dass dieses Produkt gut sein muss :-) Und das ist es tatsächlich, es fühlt sich beim Einmassieren in die Haut sehr gut an, entfernt ziemlich mühelos das komplette Make Up einschließlich wasserfester Mascara und pflegt dabei gleichzeitig die Haut. Der Geruch ist angenehm und dezent und es richtig viel Produkt im Tiegel, so dass man längere Zeit damit hinkommt. Bin sehr begeistert! Schade ist nur, dass man es in Deutschland nicht so leicht kaufen kann, wenn es auf Amazon gerade nicht verfügbar ist.
