Kenwood Chef Titanium XL Stand Mixer for Baking - Powerful and Stylish Kitchen Machine in Silver, with K-beater, Dough Hook, Whisk and 6.7L Bowl, KVL8300S, Silver [Energy Class A]

I had a celebrity chef mixer, which wasnt great, so ditched it after a year and went back to my favourite make - Kenwood. I had use of the Kenwood Major 40 years ago and loved it, so there really was only one choice, a Kenwood. I have made several different loaves, lots of cakes and a lemon meringue pie. The whisk attachment is very sturdy and made perfect meringue. I also bought the additional flexible beater, which you have to adjust, make sure you buy the right model for your mixer (AT502). Its nice to have the added pulse feature and the light is a great extra addition and the splash guard is very useful. I am very pleased with this machine, as I knew I would be, its good to have the additional attachments to make this one brilliant all rounder in the kitchen. If I had a gripe, it would be that it didnt come with its own proper cover, but I am using the plastic cover it came with just to keep it clean. I havent yet bought the grinder, but on my old Kenwood, it ground up coffee and spices brilliantly and im sure the grinder for this mixer will do the same, also you can grind granulated sugar to make caster sugar. So all in all this is one great machine, so far cant find fault with its performance. Love my Kenwood.

I have owned a kenwood chef for over 50years! This is my third. I could not be without one & this new model doesn’t disappoint. Extremely well made & does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it for everything & it kneads up bread effortlessly& to perfection! Easier to clean than my old model too.Just a great mixer brought up to date!

Had been researching a stand mixer for a very long time and finally decided on the Titanium from Kenwood. What a marvellous machine! It’s extremely solid, looks great in my new (and very contemporary) kitchen and I love using it. So far, I’ve made all sorts of cakes (of course) and with practice have now cut down the prep time significantly and got excellent results, and have also made sausages for the first time ever. I would 100% recommend this machine. I’m sure it will see a lot of use and will probably outlive me.

Other reviewers have mentioned problems with the machine and the aftercare service. In my case, the machine went wrong after about three months of light use. I expected issues and problems in getting it fixed but the service was dealt with efficiently and reasonably quickly - a new motor (which is rather surprising for a new machine). Overall, I'm happy with the machine and the aftercare service but I would hesitate before purchasing another - hence my 4* rating.

This machine is fantastic. Much quieter motor than previous models and runs very smoothly. There are some reviews that comment that the beaters don't reach the bottom of the bowl, my advice is to follow the instructions and take the time to adjust the bowl tools as described in the manual. Once this is done the machine really does have no trouble with both small and large batch mixtures. The in-bowl LED is very useful and helps to see what you are doing. Additional safety feature where the machine stops when the head is lifted is great when you have small hands helping you out.

I didn't use it much, it broke down, and now it's parked and unusable, and I'm very sad because it's still new.

I bought this mixer over 18 months ago and have used it very regularly for cakes, scones. cookies etc and in particular bread making which was my initial motivation to buy it. It has not disappointed. I wanted a powerful machine that could produce several loaves at once - and it does. I buy very little bread now because using this is so straightforward. I wanted to review this mixer only after I had properly tested it so now I can genuinely say that it was a good buy.
