Time to Meet Where the Rubber Hits the Road, Jack
Every time I use my floor jack on my vehicles, I seem to scratch the finish on the frame or undercarriage. Not that I am worried about that for aesthetic reasons, but it means I am compromising the ant-corrosion treatment. These Rubber Pads eliminate that issue, and I am glad I got these.They fit right in place on my Craftsman 3-ton floor jack with lots of room to spare and are of a hard enough rubber compound that they don’t compress or break with use. They also come with that lovely industrial rubber smell that is so lovely, ahhhh, breathe in that workshop scent.I’m using one on my floor jack and one with the bottle jack that came with my truck. Fifteen bucks is cheap insurance to ensure your undercarriage retains its anti-corrosion coating.
