Tip for rusted locks: spray lots of WD40 or similar into it until the key turns. Then strike it with a hammer on the top surface above the key to get the lock mechanism loose.I had one fully seize but managed to free it up. Then I packed it with grease and it has been fine since. If you can lock it with the keyway facing down it helps, or better still if you can keep it under some sort of cover.I have three of these and the keys definitely DO NOT fit all the locks - can only assume that review is a troll or competitor. Also not sure what the reviewer who had his cut through by an angle grinder thinks would have happened with literally any other lock on the planet?What you get is a very sturdy lock for very little money. The rust issue is manageable/preventable; if you want to spend five times as much on a one without any rust issues, do that instead.

Last time I bought a similar lock it was about £30. I wasn't expecting great things but having received it, I was well impressed with the weight and solidity. No padlock is ever going to stop a truly determined thief with a battery grinder but this lock would certainly deter unprepared opportunists and bored delinquents! It hasn't spent any time outside to measure the quality of the plating and will ultimately stain at some point down the line although the brass mechanism should still be unaffected. For me the five keys are not required although good for a yard or factory that may need them - They are the internally cut type which I think are better than standard cut keys but may be more difficult to get at the local key cutter. For £12, they're half the price of similar padlocks and I'd certainly recommend them.

This item arrived safe and well packaged.This is a lovely, big strong padlock. It is clearly very well made and very strong. It seems to be quite durable too! It is very strong and great value too.I actually bought this as I needed to secure a storage container unit. I had tried a previous padlock that was frustratingly unable to actually fit on either of the 2 lock positions on my container! The lock behind the secure plate is the prime location, and this was able to fit perfectly behind it. The key turns smoothly and it easy to locate even when you cannot visibly see the lock.I am incredibly pleased with this, and happy that it will be protecting my stored items for many years to come!I highly recommend this product.

Brilliant chunky padlock 🔐. It will take a lot to for any thieves to get it open.I’ve had a couple of padlocks from this brand and they are pretty good. This one is bigger which I thought would be great for my storage which is on my driveway. Sadly the bolt was just too big to go through the holes on the storage so I had to return it and get the smaller one.I would recommend oiling if using outside as although this brand is described as not rusting I found the last 2 did, although once oiled your good to go and protected unless somebody turns up with a bolt cutter as that’s what would be required to bust this one open.

I was just looking for a big solid secondary lock that would put off oppertunist thieves, it's certainly solid and very heavy duty but it would be easily opening by a professional thief, as shown in the video, also it's not well finished, some rough edges that would cut your fingers on, but for this price a didn't expect it to be high quality. It will do the job I intended it to a 2nd line of defence to put off thieves, it's also helpful that you get so many extra keys as they can be about £5 each to get cut.
