Amazon assure me this my twelfth purchase of this amazing product in nine years - before that I used to buy it from my gunsmith for quite a bit more.First off it is NOT a desiccant, it will not ever reduce humidity, it does not claim to - I use a simple silica gel pouch to do that cheaply - that choice is at your own risk; to have wooden stocks slowly and slightly over-dried is a subject of much deserved discussion elsewhere. This VP90 allows corrosion proofing of metal parts without desiccation of the wooden parts.You just place this VP90 sachet somewhere in your gun cabinet and let it do its stuff.This places an anti-corrosion 'oil' vapour into the air. Wherever air can get to - this stuff coats with the beneficial layer. Some of my guns are in 'socks' others are not, if air can get in - this works. It will get the beneficial layer to where an oily rag cannot.I have no, zero, none corrosion on any of my guns despite being abandoned and forgotten throughout CoViD years 20 & 21 - all I did was replace the VP90 sachet halfway through.You cannot tell when sachets are exhausted. The information varies between six and twelve months: I replace every nine months and leave the last sachet in as well.Yes, it costs - but at roughly 75p a month to protect my guns from corrosion is well worth it.If you keep papers in your gun cabinet, you may need to protect them with a plastic bag

I always have one of these in my gun cabinets. They give superb protection from rust.

Cheaper here than gunshops.got a sachet with my cabinet 3 years ago .never replaced it and now the rust is creeping in.You only get 1 sachet but they've never said you get a box.as for price ? Expensive yes but it depends on the price of the goods you are protecting.Plus they never stick well.

Seems to be working fine (although it is hard to tell) but the sticky patch on the back came off when I tried to install it. Now the patch just lies in the bottom of my cabinet.

Easy to use and has kept my rifle in good condition for past 5 years. I change it annually.

I’ve used these for the past 13 years in my gun cabinet and they do what they claim. I’ve never had any rust or corrosion issues and they last the 12 months claimed. I wouldn’t dream of storing my guns without a this product being inside.

The product arrived well within the specified time, was well packaged and exactly as described. The only problem I had was, when removing the protective cover from the adhesive pad, the whole pad separated from the sachet. This meant I had to stand the sachet in the gun cabinet rather than stick it to the cabinet wall. (I tried to use a pad of double sided tape but this also refused to adhere to the sachet). I dont imagine this will cause any significant problems and hope the sachet will protect my guns. This is my first time to use this product and, if it works, I will renew it every 12 months as recommended. Recommended seller.
