Blundell Harling A2 Challenge Lightboard

The board feels solid when you draw on it. Great to be able to shine a light through it. The parallel ruler and plastic components for the motion feel a little flimsy. They are solid enough for use but wouldn't take much to break them. The board itself feels pretty solid but being perspex, does make creaky noises when you rest on it and for about 30 mins after you transport it. (Slightly disturbing but a minor annoyance.)This product is crying out for a carry case. I'm currently transporting mine between home and work without a case which is awkward (it doesn't lock flat and has no handle) and risky given what I said about the slightly flimsy components. I would have happily paid £20 more for a case but as it stands, I can't yet find anything that it will fit into without going for some massive A1 case. Might have to get my mother-in-law to knock something together for me!Update: I'm a few weeks into using this and It's become indispensable. I can now draw for hours without getting a bad neck. An unexpectedly good discovery I've made is that because the surface is perspex it generates a small amount of static which means that paper stays put by itself really well without needing to tape/fix it there. This is great for my purposes as I can just chuck a piece of paper on it and it sticks. Even when I'm tracing there is enough static to hold both pieces of paper.I also managed to find an old art folder which it just about fits into solving my transportation problems. Very glad I bought this product.
