Still a joy to read.
I accidently came across the first book in the series when trying to find something light hearted to read. I couldn't put it down and instantly bought the second book. The third book is even better and I absolutely love the characters. I can't make up my mind which one is my favourite.I know it is a bit of a cliche when it comes to reviews, but this whole series is filled with many laugh out loud moments. Having been a child in the late 1970's and early 1980's, it brings back a lot of memories and also nostalgia about Christmas' of the time. Christmas in the 1980's were the best!I would love to see them made into a number of TV series to be shown on the lead up to Christmas. But for the love of God, don't let the BBC get their hands on it. They'll just ruin it like they do everything else.

Hysterically laugh-out-loud funny.
As with the other 2, this is a must for anyone who grew up in the iconic eighties. The characters and relationships between them are so real and hilarious. The concept of the plot seems ridiculous but James Crookes makes it totally feasible. Looking forward to book 4.

Great fun
Loved this series of books and the amazing stories. Fun thinking of Raymond and Maureen who sound like an idiot auntie and uncle everyone has, Jamie and Tash's relationship growing and of course great music memories accompanying the time travelling escapades.

I loved this trilogy
I really enjoyed the story over the three books. Woke the missus up on a number of timestrying not to giggle to hard. Only three books so far? Sakes.

THE END????
No it can't be the end, not with an epilogue like that. There's so much more you can do, like take baby Raymond when he's older to meet the crazy bunch. Or even take George and Andrea back to see Jamie. I don't want this to be the end. All three books were funny but the last one had me crying with laughter and I had some strange looks. I'm at an age where I need to cross my legs to laugh and this book had me crossing my legs with tears running down my cheeks. If you don't laugh, you have no sense of humour

Getting tiresome
3rd in the series, and is a hard read, as is very similar to the previous 2 and very repetitive.

Great series
Such a great read, laugh out loud funny in parts but quiet poignant in others. The characters were all believable and relatable.

I'm not a comedy fan
I'm not a comedy fan. I had book 1 on my wish list for ages before making the decision to buy it.I read book 1, and enjoy it. I caught myself trying to laugh (I don't tend to laugh out loud). I bought book 2 immediately and book 3 followed shortly after.Yes, ok. I admit it. I laughed out loud.I do hope there's a book 4. I want to know what Ernest has been up to.

Absolutely brilliant!
Part 3 of Jamie and Tash's adventures is an absolute triumph for Author James Crookes. A must read for anyone who experienced the fabulous 80's. Hilarious and addictive read. Keep them coming James. Can't recommend these fabulous books highly enough.
