I'm a 24 year old woman and even I enjoy these lunch containers! The lids stay on TIGHT! But yes, corn juice would run into your taters if you spilt it on its side. Oh well! These are still great!Btw, I did purchase these at full price and wasn't given a discount to review the item. Just wanted to give my opinion! ;)

Would buy 100 times over!
This was a well researched purchase! I'm pretty sure I compared every bento box or type box on the market. I needed something BPA free, didn't cost a fortune, dishwasher safe, tight enough to prevent leaks but easy enough to open for a tiny kindergartener. I got these for my kindergartner that was having MAJOR anxiety over lunchtime at school because she was having trouble opening packages on her own. Now, she just has to take off one lid and then put the lid back on and put back in her lunchbox and bring home. Nothing to throw away so I don't worry about the containers getting tossed! I also bought some silicone cupcake liners and put those in the big part of the box so I could put more than one food in the big section. It makes packing lunches so much easier! It has worked like a charm! Bonus, they come in pretty colors!

Love these organized food prep containers!
Great set of meal prep containers! They are easy to clean and store and the divided sections are the perfect size for me to make my lunch to bring to work. I can easily assemble my lunches for a few days at a time and have everything ready to grab and go. I haven't used them in the dishwasher, as my dishwasher tends to leave a weird residue-type mess on my plastic containers, so I only handwash this, but it is very easy to clean. The plastic is more firm than typical Tupperware containers, but it is a nice, sturdy set. I highly recommend these containers!

*Edited as none of my comments showed up.I bought 3 sets of these containers a year ago. My biggest complaint is that the tabs have broken off most of the lids. My 5/6yo can still open them. He has broken/cracked a few of them and one that he brought home went straight in the recycling. I think it depends how rough you/your children are, as I have used these for my own lunches without incident. I frequently wash these in the dishwasher. They hold a lot of water in the rims and will not dry, even with a heated cycle, so expect to hand/rack dry them.

Lids don't shut tight after about two months.
PRO: Inexpensive and fits full sized sandwiches. Kids like the brought colors and compartments.CON: The lids don't stay tight shut. I've never put them in the dishwasher but they still seem to have lost their ability to close tightly. And the tabs on the corners of the lids have almost all snapped off. They work ok but only if I tape them shut.

Broken lid
The product is nice but one of the lids was broken leaving me with only 5 useable bento box Tupperware. I’m not sure if it was a result in the packaging or poor quality.*I’ve updated my review because of their amazing costumer service and prompt reply to replace my broken lid.

Great buy
These are sturdy and clean easily. The compartments stay separate and I have loved these. They are better made and thicker than a Ziplock container or other brands but not too heavy. The less weight in the lunch box the better, but I need it to hold up to a kindergartener.

These were okay for meal planning. The lids do not secure well and instead just sort of sit on top. If you're using them at home it's no big deal, but if you're taking it to go the lid may pop off and spill. Also the lids don't sit together so they are a little difficult to store

Nice boxes, lids need improvements
I bought these Bento boxes a few months ago. These are the first Bento boxes I've used and I love the size and 3 separate areas. The boxes have held up well to weekly use and I run them through the dishwasher most of the time, even bottom rack. My one complaint is that the lids are VERY difficult to snap on all the way. I worry that they'll pop open in transit or that my food won't hold as long as it should because I can't always tell if I've got them closed.

DIY Sensible Portions Meals
I am very happy with my lunch boxes. I use them to store my home cooked sensible portions meals. Last week I grilled chicken, roasted broccoli, green beans, Brussel sprouts and cooked brown rice. The lunch box is divided into 3 sections, so I filled the largest area with the roasted vegetables, 1/2 grilled chicken breast in the smaller section and filled the smallest section with steamed brown rice. The lunch boxes can go from the freezer to the microwave and then to the dishwasher and they store very easily. The lunch boxes work great for me!!

Great for family lunches!
My family uses these when we go to our weekly homeschool co-op and pack lunches. I have put them through the dishwasher a few times and they're holding up great so far. I love that the lids are different colors, so everyone in my family can have their own.
