Q: Is the black shiny? How long will it last before it turns matte and ugly?

Due to my local weather and environment I use a spray on everything. I do use a lot of these balloons.

Q: The lemon yellow picture looks more like mustard - the plain yellow seems brighter. which looks more like lemon?

They are yellow but they are very translucent

Q: how long does helium last in these? overnight?

I did use helium I used air for a bouquet I made. But I suggest you use hi flo your balloons will live longer. I would say 2 days max ... Try to keep the in a cool room temperature for the next day ... Or blow them up day of event. Good luck.
