Superb support and back up with unusual time setting mode it’s a fantastic experience building it.

Arrived really quickly & considering it's a lot cheaper than most alternatives it's absolutely gorgeous. Has pride of place on the mantle piece! Everyone comments on it when they come in. Now I need one from the bedroom! Visually very appealing and I can't stop looking at it. It's like a lava lamp that tells you the time among other things.

Returned for a refund.

Built clock OK and worked fine for a while. Wanted to reset the time and found I had no menu select (small n symbol) anymore?! Tried to join forum but never got my account verify to i couldn't post for any help/support. Clock works fine with a higher voltage but clearly something has changed, luckily I'm an Electronics Engineer and I fix it eventually.

This is a kit for those with some soldering experience. I worked in electronics for many years and fancied picking up again.Kit is well packaged and logically designed, instructions are accessed via a web link which is kept updated.The finished result worked at the third attempt, which I was pretty pleased with. Only caution is when joining the two PCB's make sure you leave enough length in the connecting pins to enable the boards to sit parallel.The wooden end pieces weren't cut exactly right, I had to scrape the slots a bit wider, but it was no big issue.A good way to occupy a few evenings and leaves you with an interesting and unusual clock

So far I'm giving it a 5* as I'm still part way through the build. Everything arrived nice and quick and was well packed.

The initial concept and price were contributing factors in my choice in purchasing this particular clock. This and that and the fact that it was in kit form was also a bonus but alas anomalies within components and construction warranted I send this particular unit back I would definitely purchase gain if Amazon restocks
