So far I’m only using one of these with canola oil, which is the oil I use the most. I also use olive quite a bit so will probably put that in the second one. I find it so much faster and easier to grease a loaf pan or skillet with this. I also think I use less as I can control the amount as opposed to pouring some in the pan or skillet. These are attractive enough to keep on the counter although I keep mine in the cupboard. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased a nicer glass version of these & absolutely LOVE it! I picked these up as tuck in gifts for a few camper friends. I was slightly disappointed in their appearance upon arrival. They were a little cheap looking, but do look a little better when filled with oil. However, they are great for camping. They function perfectly & that is the point.

These work just fine for a substitute for an aerosol can. I washed them before use and noticed water and air was squeezing out of the side rather than the bottom and was worried it would do that with oil. It does, but only if you squeeze aggressively! If you don't use to much pressure and gently squeeze it in your pan it works just fine.

I was looking for something that would kind of measure the oil as I pour and have the brush as well. It didn’t do both so I returned.

I chose these innovative, modern drip-free oil dispensers as I begin to to replace my drippy, sticky, messy oil bottles. I use a few different kinds of oil in my daily cooking – olive, sesame, canola, and extra-virgin. They are all a BIG problem. Whenever I pour from them, they leak...down the side of the bottle, onto the counter top and my hands...and all over the kitchen from there. Even with the paper sleeves I have them wrapped in, they are a nightmare of a mess (see BEFORE/AFTER photo).Problem Solved!Two oil dispenser bottles are included in the box, one top reddish-brown and the other blue. They are 7” tall, and 2.5” wide. For brush use with meats, the two-pack is essential! One dispenser (red meat) can be LABELED and used on MEATS ONLY, (for health reasons), while the second bottle is used for non-meat only applications.The heat-resistant, BPA-free silicone dropper and brush are also useful for oiling metal or glass baking and roasting pans. Oil flow is controlled by gently squeezing the silicone bulb. Some initial practice may be needed to draw up various amounts of liquid into the “ml/oz” measure-marked glass reservoir (water is easiest to use for practice!). Accurate measurement is essential for those who monitor intake.Gelatin molds that have been lightly oiled release quickly. I keep both of these bottles next to the stove one has avocado oil, and the other has olive oil. It’s very helpful with greasing the bottom of the pan with just enough oil to get things cooking and not drown in the oil.
