We have another ring binder and the spacing between each is 72mm and this one is 80m** A: I brought some pre punched plastic wallet inserts from a local shop and they fit perfectly and I assume they use standard 4 punch holes. Binder itself is great and really well made **Q: Are the pockets really transparent and perfect for displaying illustrations and photos?** A: They are standard transparent thickness pockets. You can change these (if you want) to thicker pockets but the folder will obviously not hold as many. They are glass clear and very good for displaying photos etc. I am very happy with this professional looking product. I hope this helps. **Q: is this folder black or brown?** A: Hi - it is black with red stitching - I am very pleased with it and found the enclosed clear pockets to be better quality than I thought. **Q: Is there a zip on this? Without a zip how well do your doc iments stay in the folder when moving about?** A: There is no zip. There is a closing solution.
