Dog refused to put it in his mouth!
I bought this for a specific photo I needed. I coated the ball of the toy with peanut butter to make it more attractive. I tried and tried but my dog would NOT let it in his mouth. So, no photo. I have left it with the other dog toys thinking one of the dogs might at least chew on it to give it some use. Nope. No one wants it.

Had the designers ever seen a dog??
I had high hopes for this awesome mustache ball. I love a gag, and when it involves my overly tolerant labrador, all the better. But this thing doesn't make any sense. First of all, this is for a BIG dog. My 70 lb lab is barely comfortable holding the ball in her mouth. But the bigger issue is that the angle is all wrong. The 'stache angles down from the ball such that, when held in the dog's mouth, the tips of the mustache point toward the dog's shoulders instead of the ground (hope that makes sense). It's still funny, but it would be impossible to get a good picture of the dog looking like it had a mustache, as I envisioned. Great concept, poor execution.

Not tough for chewing but soft for gumming
This is number 2 we've gone through and ordered our third. We have a bulldog with few teeth and hyperplasia meaning his gums are all overgrown. The toy is soft and so very enjoyable for him to gum away. But I think if he was a real chewer they wouldn't last long. For us, this is perfect with the exception that the squeaker falls out too easily.

Large size worked with my Great Pyrenees!
This was a surprise success. I have had it for over a week, regular use, and it has stood up to my Great Pyrenees, which is really saying something. On the downside, he won't hold it in his mouth to make a cute photo with the 'stash' facing the right direction. But I am pleased, that he is pleased, with chewing it. The squeeker in the ball has tragically already been chewed to death though.. he still likes it though.

Seems high quality and the laugh potential seems pretty great as well
DARLING...but in the words of president-elect Trump...."It's UUUUUUUGE." No way will my 11-pound dog ever be able to play with this. Ever. If you have a gigantic dog, definitely get this. Seems high quality and the laugh potential seems pretty great as well. I don't even think my 25-pound schnauzer could have gotten his mouth around this thing on his best day.

Funny, but not great quality
While my dog does look funny walking around with a huge mustache (when he actually picks it up correctly, which is 1 out of 10 times)the speed at which it is falling apart is disapointing. My dog is not a chewer, and the curls of the mustache are coming off just from being carried by the dog there. If your dog is a chewer, I would not recommend this item.Otherwise, it is good for a quick laugh.

Dog loves it!
This was a Christmas gift for our golden retriever. I must say that he liked opening his present better than the actual present. But if you put a treat, or peanut butter, in the little hole on the ball, he likes it much better! He doesn't understand that he needs to hold the ball in a particular position for the mustache to appear like it does in the picture! No problems with the toy, though.

Not for the strong chewer but worth a laugh.
This is a novel dog toy and very funny when our dog actually held in in her mouth correctly. This toy did not last very long before the dogs had chewed off pieces of it and we had to toss it out for safety. The dog alway ended up carrying the toy around by the mustache rather then the other part, I think it was too big. So get this toy for a laugh but not to last with dogs who love to chew.
