Received the wrong product

I got this Bic kids activity drum for a little grandson who like most little-uns loves drawing and colouring things. It contains, colouring pencils, crayons, paper and a glue stick and is aimed at children over 5 years of age. Although the idea is nice, there isn't a lot of material included and as other have pointed out, there's a lot of space in the drum which the manufacturer could have filled with other drawing related material.At over £10.00 it isn't really that good a value for money as you could by similar items for a lot less. I guess you could actually buy a few extra things yourself to pop in a fill it up a bit. Shops like Home Bargains sell this sort of material for peanuts so it wouldn't cost much to fill it.

Drum is not jam-packed and might be (suspect it is) better value to check one of those discount book and stationery stores down the High Street.Did you notice there is only one photo on the product page?12 each colouring pens, colouring pencils, 1 glue stick, and a few, small sheets of artwork to colour, dot-to-dot and wordsearch.Bic is a quality brand, so the products are good.Think this might be marketed at "easy" shoppers - I got this as Vine Review product but I could have been tempted to buy had it popped up during my Amazon browsing, seeing how attractive it looks and in one package. So you might be paying for "money-rich/time-poor".

This contains a good variety of colouring materials for children. All of the felt pens, crayons and pencils are of good quality and should last quite some time. There is also a good selection of different colours in each type. The colouring pad is attractive, and the instructions easy to follow for children without much adult help. The cut out figures are fun to make. The enclosed glue stick is not the strongest. The tub is rather large for the amount of material inside, but that does allow for other craft material to be added easily, as it's a useful storage container.

How a kiddy would feel I dread to think!So if anyone is thinking of buying this as a present or Xmas stocking filler you had better buy some more stuff to fill it up!Its OK but pretty disappointing

For a small drum it packs a fair amount of lovely kit. The pens, pecils and crayons combined with the colouring sheets and dot to dots will provide any small child ( above 6 is pushing it ) to some well spent creative time. I think its perfect as a small travel set one of those things you bring out to keep kids quiet in a restaurant but if your after something that will entertain your kids for hours on end on a wet day this isnt for you.
