I love this camera, it's discrete, a little bit cute, and most importantly it produces a good quality HD video footage during the day and also at night with the infrared camera mode turned on.It's like one of them china dolls when it arrives. You open the Amazon box and inside that box have the camera box. Open the camera box and you find another camera box along with a camera holder for your vehicle. Inside the box, that was inside the box, inside the box, you'll finally find a robot camera along with some cable ties, metal bracket, some pads. a nice long USB cable, instructions, a 2 pin USB power adapter and a spare blue rubber jumper to keep the robot warm.I wanted something that didn't stand out too much as a Camera and wanted something portable that didn't need a screwed down in a fixed location. This could be used as a dash cam, baby monitor, security camera or even a camera to leave outside the tent and monitor wildlife while camping. It has a magnetic head that can twist surround to get the best angle and the body that can be detached from the camera head making it even more compact.Setting up was simple and worked with 2 different android devices. All I needed to do was scan the barcode in the user manual and install the app. It's also possible to download the NetCam software direct from the Google play store.I had to disconnect my mobile device from my internet WIFI connection and then connect to the robot WIFI. I opened the App and searched for the camera using the LAN search. It picked up the camera instantly and filled in the camera ID. The app looks like it is made for a number of different devices so some of the features will not work. I can record and take footage directly from the phone or save it onto an installed memory card (not included),There is also lot of features I've not needed to check out yet the like FTP, Notifications and Wifi camera through the router. I will update my review once I have had a moment to play with these featured in depth. The cameras doesn't come with a UK USB mains adapter but It can be powered from a mains supply or battery bank, or even a PC or Laptop.
