This works remarkably well and saved my plants last summer while I was away for 3 weeks. Silent, good LCD display and flexible timer options.Cons:I am not sure replacement or longer hoses can be found if you need them though -- they must be precisely the right diameter to fit the outlets snugly.The battery compartment cover should not really be secured with a screw. It's not even watertight and having to look for a screwdriver is annoying. Manufacturers have solved this decades ago.The whole thing is not waterproof which is very odd for an irrigation system that can easily fall into a bucket, even for indoors use.A battery indicator would be useful.Bonus tip: I placed the plants in the bathtub and wash basin, and fitted this to the toilet cistern rather than a bucket for unlimited but controlled water supply. When water levels go down, the cistern is automatically refilled.Overall, very happy with this simple controller, but I hope I won't get it wet or lose the hoses.

I had high hopes as when you test without tubes, it does suck up water and squirt out of the ten holes; however, once you have attached tubes, the pump needs to be strong enough to then have enough push to go down the ten lengths of tube (you will have cut from a long reel of tube supplied).Once attached, the water runs out of a maximum of 6 tubes, and it’s not up to anymore. Complete waste of money and dead plants if you trust this thing. Back to the drawing board for me. I think I shall invest in a waterbutt pump and battery timer. I researched on you tube and found this an effective eco friendly way to water your plants and not use mains water. My concern over using mains water are that you can’t on a hose pipe ban, it’s not eco friendly and if the timer goes wrong, you will end up with over watered plants and a very high water bill. Such a shame this product does not do as it says. Good concept if you only need 5 plants watering

This is the best little timer!Only downside, is that I’d like the pump side to be on a longer hose.
