Easy to use, excellent product.
Bought this for my Mother who is partially sighted. Just pop in the batteries and the clock adjusts itself to the correct time via radio signal. Press the black button and it tells you the time in a clear, volume adjustable voice. Perfect for anyone who is visually impaired. Very sturdy too - withstands drops and accidents. We’ll worth the price.

Crystal clear natural voice. No distortion and delivers time in a soothing tone.
Pros:- The voice is crystal clear with no distortion. It's a natural human voice delivered in a soft and calm tone.- The atomic clock was no nonsense. The time synced pretty quickly and the clock was up and running with no faff.- Adjustable volume. Seems a small thing but you don't want the sound to be a nuisance to everyone in the household. We have it set just right so that it's nice and clear in one bedroom and can't be heard from outside that room.Cons:- This is nitpicking, but it's not the prettiest object to have on your nightstand. It's also perhaps a little larger than you might expect given it has no clock face, but I expect it's that larger speaker that allows it to deliver such quality sound.

Good solid build and well packaged
Nightmare to have delivered as used Royal Mail signed for which meant four attempts had to be made before the item was successfully received. However one it arrived it was very well packaged and of good quality. It was also already set up which was extremely helpful. Will happily use this company again.

IDEAL CLOCK FOR ELDERLY PERSON
My mother-in-law suffered a stroke and now cannot see out of left eye or hear well. Despite trying very hard she found normal clock faces difficult to understand and would call members of the family most evenings believing that her last set of carers had forgotten her and that she would be left in a chair all night. This clock has transformed her. She even takes it to bed and startles the morning carers with telling them the exact minute they arrive. She still rings the family at night but at one minute past the time the carers should arrive! The clock is brilliant. The voice used to tell the time is masculine and distinct. There are no other knobs or switches that can be inadvertently touched or switched on/off. The volume increase is enough even for a hard of hearing person.Well worth every penny it cost. Very, very pleased.

For my old Mum
Already hard-of-hearing, my elderly Mum suffered a stroke and lost much of her sight: she can only make out light and dark shapes now. Having come home from hospital she was determined to maintain her independence, but circumstances were far from perfect. The first time she used the talking clock her eyes lit-up with delight. She'd been "trapped" in a world of uncertainty and was never quite sure what time, or indeed what day it was. Now, she feels in touch with the world again.I had been a little unsure about buying this because her hearing is so poor, but I needn't have worried: she loves the clear, male voice and can easily find the button to activate it.Excellent product that has really improved the quality of her life. Thank you RNIB.

A nice idea, but with reservations
This 'clock' is larger than you think, but is sturdily made with a large button to make the clock announce the time (and date, if pressed long enough). The downsides are minimal, but worthy of note. This clock syncs with the NPL atomic clock each night, so is always accurate however if you which to make use if this accuracy, there is no opportunity to tell where (during the announcement) the actual moment - like the 'final pip', if you will. It appears the clock awaits the in audible time reference, then activates the voice mechanism - so by the time you hear it start, it is already a few seconds past the hour when set for an hourly time report.Other omissions - some who like the idea of the hourly report, don't want it speaking through the night - but if is all or nothing - you cannot select to silence the time report between (say 2200 and 0600). Finally, you cannot select a 24-hour mode, it will always tell the time with AM or PM appended. Why? It has to convert this from the received data so not allowing a 24hr option for those who would like it seems a bit cavalier. To make it ideal, an opening single chime to provide the exact time reference for the hourly report before the spoken part would be a great improvement, the voice quality is clear and distinct and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.Shane about ignoring the 24hr clock!
