Fantastic
I bought this for an elderly friend that is going blind, also her hearing is patchy at times, she really wanted to know the time and was spending a fortune calling the talking clock on her phone. This product is fantastic she can hear it perfectly and it is very easy to use it is small enough that she can carry it in her huge handbag if she wishes too. I wish I had known about it earlier

Brilliant
I "inherited" one of these clocks from my Mother about 15 years ago and still going strong. My partner wanted one as, like me, eyesight is not good without glasses and particularly at night you can just reach out and hit the top to get the time without opening your eyes! Love the different alarm sounds - the cuckoo raises a smile!

A nice pleasing device with an adjustable volume for the time announcements. Easy to set up. Well made. The only negative is that it doesn't keep very accurate time - losing a fair few minutes per week. My elderly father (who this was bought for) is unable to adjust the time, so it needs someone else to do this for him. Definitely recommended for you or someone you know who has visual impairment.

Recommended for the blind but not necessarily the partially deaf
Got for my mother. Good for elderly as nothing much to confuse in operation. You hit the big yellow button and a voice gives the time. With a face she'd be trying to check the time both ways and get confused.Only gripe is the volume should be able to go a bit louder although RNIB recommended they should remember that for the elderly hearing impairment applies as well,.

Very pleased wiht purchase
This is an invaluable device for people with recurring sleep problems thorugh anxiety about time-keeping, impaired vision or confusion and disorientation on waking. The setings are straightforward to manage and it is wonderful to know that once the alarm is set for a chosen time, there is no need to reset the alarm each day.

Get it
My wife is blind and after I had set the clock, the large button on the top is easy for her to activate. The voice is clear and the batteries seemingly go on for ever. She has had on for years and now has the additional one in the sun room. Doug.

I'm sure the clock is ideal for blind people but not so good for my mum who has slight dementia and gets am and pm confused because although the time is spoken clearly, the am and pm is not. It needs to be more pronounced and slower. I fear I have wasted £30
