Used to get this, and loved it but the recipe has now seemingly changed and it has lost all its strength. For something so expensive I am really disappointed. It probably only lasts an hour or so, and thats using quite a lot of the paste on short hair! Would avoid

Great hold and still soft

I love this stuff. I first picked it up at my barber but then they switched which products they carry, so I was very happy to find it here. I really like the matte finish, so your hair doesn't look greasy or plastic and it has just the right amount of hold. I like that I can touch my hair throughout the day without getting my fingers sticky, which is more than most similar products can say. Plus, it doesn't smell weird at all. You don't need to use much to get good results so it's totally worth the price too.

My husband purchased this for himself but I forgot my hairspray on a trip and used this in a pinch. I have short, wavy, thick hair that's about 30% gray. Those gray hairs are wirey and want to stick straight up. I found this product works great on my short hair. It keeps the gray hairs in place but makes all my hair look a wonderful beachy, just tousled look and doesn't make my hair feel gross unless I use too much. It washes off my hands easily with water and washes out of my hair quickly with one washing of shampoo. I have purchased my own bottle. Love it.
