I think these are great, have two pairs due to being able to monitor my dad in two seperate rooms. For him being unable to walk and diagnosed with vascular dementia/parkinsons (although he appears to have latter even though the former is diagnosed) all he has to do is speak without pressing anything and he can be heard downstairs. We can respond to him using the mic on the main unit without running up and down the stairs. When he gets a little too demanding then the main unit can be turned off giving a little time for peace and quiet!

The basic function worked OK but reception at the parent unit marred by a very faint whine. Given that the baby unit is activated merely by the sound of the wind or passers-by outside, this would mean a night of whining going on and off. Fine if you're a heavy sleeper but not really good enough. Returned.

I bought to help us check on my mum as she is having falls in the bathroom and getting up in the middle of the night. Great product, but I did not find the instructions very helpful. It took me a while to get them to work as I tried to connect them from a different room, then I decided to put them closer and they connected.

I wrote and complained that this monitor did not work several times and still have received nothing after 5 months. Very disappointed. Do not buy this product as they ignore emails and there is no customer support.

Use it to monitor our puppy and it is great value for money.Correction a few weeks later it stopped working due to a fault

Does exactly what it says on the box. At night occasionally upon switch on the master has lost connection to the slave but can easily be rectified by using the press to talk button. On one occasion there was some interference being picked up which caused the master to be on continuous receive but that is expected since uses radio frequencies. Apart from that works flawlessly and comes highly recommended.

They don't look very high-end but they work just fine. They work both with batteries and plug.
