Nice little gizmo! May be better suited to cowitness though irons vs. optics.
Finally got my .300BLK finished up a few weeks back and for starters put on one of them Chinesium red dots and ballpark zeroed it. Saw this little guy on my Amazon feed so figured I'd give it a try & report back to my fellow enthusiasts. As you can see it is well packaged and probably gets a little lonely in there. The bore sight itself is comfortably snuggled in foam inside a hinged metal case. The case is efficient, the foam cutouts hold the sight and batteries very nicely. I kept one star to myself due to lack of instructions. Probably the only thing worse than poorly translated instructions are no instructions. This had no instructions but fortunately installing batteries and using a bore sight isn't really rocket science. It comes with three "sets" of batteries that are sort of glued together in a stack.Unscrew the back, put in the batteries little end first (I had to guess that one, maybe INSTRUCTIONS would have helped), then when you screw in the back it makes the connection and the "laser" kicks on and you spend the next 10 minutes playing with the cat. There's no on/off switch (as far as I could tell, maybe INSTRUCTIONS would have helped) so when you're done you can either take the batteries back out or unscrew it enough so it breaks contact. The sight neck has a few teeny tiny screws in it that are either from when it's put together or maybe for adjusting zero (not sure, maybe INSTRUCTIONS would have helped). (See where I went there?)So anyhow I popped it in the rifle and it lined up pretty close with the Chinesium red dot. One thing I noticed right away and maybe it is the glass in the Chinesium red dot but I had a hard time seeing the "laser" through the optic. Which is strange since the "laser" was really bright and visible with the naked eye. So maybe there's some sort of coating or something on the Chinesium. On a bright day or long distances I don't think you'd be able to see the "laser" on target through the optic. Maybe I'll try it on a more expensive red dot, like the Aimpoint PRO and see how that looks.Just for grins I chambered it in a 5.56 (since the cartridge base is the same) and it lined up pretty good with the irons on that one too. I have yet to take the guns to the range since using the "laser" but I expect they should be right in the ballpark and require minimal fine tuning. So a neat little gizmo, but INSTRUCTIONS would have been nice.

Not a true aiming device!!
Easy to use as most devices like these are, but the the good side. At 100 yards the laser has you 3-4 yards from the point of aim, thus making it little better than worthless.

Accurate Sight
Well-made sight that fits well in my .300 and is accurate. The blackout laser and fine dot make it simple to set my base of 25 yards to zero for my scopes. It saves me a few shots at the range so it saves me money on shots and can scope into 100 yards. The extra batteries are also a nice product feature. Good value product.*** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***

Did not fit my 300 aac blackout AR
Either the casing itself was not designed right or it isn’t the right caliber sizing. Anytime I put it in the barrel to calibrate my sights, it moved positions or didn’t stay centered.

Quick Sight In
Was able to sight my rifle in extremely quick with this and it was accurate on target. Saved me bullets doing it the old-fashioned way, which the bullets aren't cheap for the 300 Blackout caliber. Have this in my gun bag now and am excited that I'm able to efficiently sight in my gun for multiple distances down range without the expense of my wallet. Plus, it's a cool little gadget to show off to the comrades. Highly recommend for your favorite rifle as well.
