AirLock - Wall/Ceiling Mount for Apple AirPort Express

I needed to mount an Airport Express where it was inaccessible to inquisitive grandchildren.The Airlock has enabled me to mount the Express horizontally (as recommended by Apple) but upside down, high in a window frame.Installation took about five minutes. Once a suitable position has been identified the unit is fixed to the wall or ceiling by two screws, and the frame can be clamped tightly around the Express with a single screw.I have tidied up and hidden the audio and power cables using self-adhesive mini trunking, and I am happy with the overall result. I get a good wi-fi signal with this wireless extension to my Airport Extreme.

I bought this along with a cheaper option for the Apple TV.The cheaper option had an adhesive pad that enabled the mount to be stuck to the back of the TV. The adhesive failed within a few hours.I'm glad to say that this more expensive version is well-made and works well.

Easy to fit, looks good, and does the job well - my airport is now tucked away on the wall. Only negative is that it's quite expensive for what it is.

Fantastic mount that is easy to use and comes supplied with all of the appropriate mounting equipment and tools.Mounted to either the wall of the ceiling this product looks smart and suits the style of the Apple Airport Express. I would definitely recommend this product.

Decent build quality. Minus one star purely because, for what you get, it seems a little overpriced.

high quality. easily attached to a wall plug receptacle cover, so no new holes or tape needed. will order another one for our apple tv module.

Casa nuova, sistema internet totalmente nuovo, mi sono trovato a comprare le basi Apple, e la necessità di trovare un buon supporto per appenderlo a parete. Ne ordino una di questa e mi ci sono trovato benissimo. Ordinata immediatamente l'altra! Venditore eccellente, tempi di consegna rispettati e il miglior prodotto del genere in circolazione, soprattutto per il rapporto qualità/prezzo!

it's quite expensive for what the product actually is - just a plastic case to hang your airport base station.

Fits the AirPort Express perfectly, works as a ceiling or wall mount, includes all hardware needed for both drywall and stud mount locations, and the adhesive pads can be used as cushions to protect the wall/ceiling when you are doing a screw mount. I didn't need the security of the torx-head locking screw (which is required for use) but the included torx-head driver was well made and easy to use. I only wish they had included an alternate screw with a standard head (either phillips or flat) so I wouldn't have to worry about storing the torx-head driver until it's time to move.
